Also close is Eastern Trails and Camp Ketcha offering opportunities for great mountain biking and hiking or kayak the Scarborough Marsh from the Audubon Center. Enjoy lunch and shopping in Portland which is both a mix of quintessential seaside town and eclectic modern flair. For the kids and kids at heart on Route 1 is Funtown Amusement Park, Aquaboggin Water Park and yes even a drive-in movie theatre. Thirty minutes to the south are the ocean side villages of Wells, Kennebunkport, and Ogunquit. Thirty minutes to the north is Freeport (home of LL Bean)and many outlet stores.
