Walk the rosemary-bordered entrance to this lovely modern beach cottage in Olivia Beach and prepare to be pleasantly surprised by its smart amenities and lovely décor. You enter a special lower-level living room, equipped with a queen sofa sleeper, gas fireplace, TV/DVD, and Xbox, along with two bedrooms and a full bath. Walk up the stairs to another wonderful living room, this one featuring a large aqua blue sectional, hardwood floors, TV, gas fireplace, and a dreamy kitchen with a gas range, stainless steel appliances, and sparkly white granite counters. You can dine together at the large table for seven and three breakfast bar seats, or on the front balcony, where a bistro table provides a private spot for a cup of coffee or cocktail. A sumptuous blue and white king suite on this floor has its own TV. You can walk down a side staircase to the large backyard with a windbreak, fire pit, chairs, and hot tub. You’ll also have access to Olivia Beach perks, including a summertime pool to relax and refresh, an exercise room, park, playground, and beach access. Walk to the Nelscott District for something nice to eat and a chance to explore the shops. Or hop in the car and arrive at the Lincoln City Outlets or the Chinook Winds Casino in minutes. 4th of July weekend

House was accurately advertised in description and photos of listing. Nice neighborhood and facilities. Beach access was a bit of a walk but the teens had a blast at the pool and the park.

The house was excellent! We loved the hot tub after a long day at beach, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and gadgets. The living areas were very comfy and the dining table fit all of us! The house had a great selection of beach towels and sand castle making equipment. Our stay was so much fun and this house made it very memorable!

Summer Fun!

Spent three days here with my daughters and grandkids. Kids loved having the pool nearby! Nice neighborhood. House was well maintained and clean, plenty of room. The driveway was a little scary at first but not bad with backup camera! Close to beach and outlet mall, we enjoyed both!

Great getaway

We have stayed at many Olivia Beach houses and this one was just an easy going house. It was great for us and our friends and the hoard of children we brought. We had a small issue finding the key to the hot tub and noted there was no baby gate, and the management was on top of it! Beds are comfy, kitchen is adequate, and just a perfect sit back and chat design.

Beautiful home

We really liked our stay at Octopus Garden. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and probably the most well stocked house we’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything and there were lots of extra towels, blankets, etc. the only drawbacks were the driveway, which is fairly steep and narrow and the bunk room would be gray with kids but not so muc for adults.

Inside very nice. Firm beds!! Downstairs TV and PlayStation for kids. Outside yard a little rough. I was under a false impression there was some sort of ocean view but the property sits behind a high burm. Small fire pit but workable. BBQ was pretty old and not very inviting to cook on. Hot Tub was great. Driveway pretty steep and narrow. Close to neighbors. Value was somewhat expensive for the place. No beach access. Unless you walked 109 steps down and back up. Very nice neighborhood. Very hilly!

The bathroom shower was broken and the light on one of the rooms was almost out and there was lots of dogs hair on of the beds!

Great time. Could’ve been cleaner.

Stay was good. However the house could’ve been better cleaned before we arrived.. candies stuck on floor in a couple places, stained sheets, etc. Also the dryer was broken, but they did let us know this like a week prior to stay.

Great home, good floor plan for families. Very clean. Hot tub in working order and clean. Kitchen well stocked with all the essentials. No view of the ocean which is a bummer considering how close it is. Beach is close by but only accessible by a long set of steep stairs. Not good for seniors or people with mobility challenges. Would stay there again.

Octopus Garden Vacation

The biggest complaint we had was the narrowness of the driveway, its proximity to a cliff, and the curb obstruction to the driveway entrance. Other discrepancies were minor and easy to fix with some attention to detail. Overall though, it was a very nice, well-stocked home for a beach vacation. A bit pricey, but not over the top.

Beautiful home. Great amenities

This is the perfect getaway. With 3 large bedrooms and 2 floors each with its own living room and gas fireplaces alone time was easy if wanting to do so. There is no firewood for outside pit so bring ur own. We left alot of wood for the next guests. A beautiful kitchen with great appliances. The only 2 cons are the fireplace thermostat downstairs was difficult to figure out. Couldn't keep it going. Upstairs was easy. The beds were too firm for us. The host was commutative and attentive. Will definitely book again.

Nice but has issues Won't stay there again.

Overall a nice home but the Hot Tub did not work, that was the main reason I rented the house I called and the maintenance repair guy said he didn't know how to work on that and that someone could fix it Monday, that did me no good as I checked out Sunday. The remote for the main bedroom did not work, we always like to fall asleep watching TV. The thermostat downstairs stopped working. I would like to get a partial refund due to issues we encountered.

No pool access

We stayed in Octopus garden last week with another family. Meredith lodging management was unable to provide us with a working fob for accessing the pool. I booked this property because it had access to a pool. For the five children we had staying with us (ages 7- just turned 14), being able to swim was very important. Our families may not be your typical wealthy lodgers, this was a splurge for our families to afford. Not only were we not provided with a working fob, but I was strung along all week. I texted/called starting Monday morning at 11:30am. No one told me that there would be no way to get a fob until I called and demanded a final answer on Wednesday afternoon. You can check your system for the details. So during my one luxury vacation of the year I spent a significant amount of time calling/waiting for what kept being promised would be updates. For a rental where we paid a lot for, I expect better straightforward service. On Tuesday afternoon, an agent, maybe Jamie? finally suggested that we just ask someone else to let us into the pool. Which I am grateful for as I had not thought of that. Both times we were there we got sideways glances and I even heard one set of kids say well now it’s crowded because these people aren’t really supposed to be here. I was told by the last agent I spoke with that “amenities aren’t guaranteed” and this was in our rental agreement.I would argue that the amenity is not guaranteed if the pool itself was to break, not if the access isn’t functional. Additionally, the children of our friends who were in this rental with us are people of color. I think we’re all aware now that it’s not appropriate to ask anyone to “break in” to the pool facility, but particularly not a young man of color. We absolutely enjoyed the house and all that was furnished. We cooked all of our meals (did not eat out once) and the house had everything we needed. Thank you, so much, for that! I will absolutely visit Olivia beach again, but I will not book any house managed by Meredith lodging in the community or other.

Beach wedding weekend

Booking this property was very easy and unlike other properties, the pictures were exactly like the reality. The rooms were bigger than I expected and the location was great. I was in town for a wedding for my dad and it was nice to stay in a house with accommodations and also plenty of room for my baby to crawl around and fit her mini crib! I will definitly be going back

Girls getaway

We love the Olivia Beach neighborhood. The house I usually try to get for our weekends was unavailable so I chose this one. House was loaded with great kitchen items. I would suggest to bring extra blankets. Also the driveway is terrible. We had 3 cars and parked them all along the driveway. Extremely narrow. I’m surprised that a car hasn’t fallen off the cliff. If you’re just a one or 2 car visit, not much of an issue. Overall house met our needs and was great

Fir the most part it was a great place to stay! The only frustrating thing was the lack of information at the house about how to operate items such as the tv controllers etc. otherwise it was a perfect place to stay! Would stay again!
