What an ideal beach house! 180 degree view of the beautiful Oregon coast complete with rock formations off shore and on the beach! Wonderful sectional to watch the gorgeous waves for hours. Definitely vintage, but immaculately clean and comfortable, including large updated primary with king bed. Fabulous host, dealt with one question immediately. Very, very happy we lucked into staying here.

This charming property is amazing! The view from the living room/dining area is breathtaking. The house comes well equipped. It is older and comes with a few quirks that do not take away from the cozy charm and spectacular stay. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. Perfect location. This home is grossly outdated. It's in need of major updates. The interior was dusty and had cobwebs on light fixtures and lamps. The only shower in the house appears to be a reclaimed RV shower. It's extremely small. The View and location are the only reason I didn't give it 1 star.

The house worked great for our weekend stay with 90 year old grandma. She is disabled and wanted to see the ocean. This view out of the living room was spectacular. We had a comfortable and enjoyable weekend.

RX: Much Needed Beach Vacay

Fafilled Wow!!! It takes a lot for my husband to say anything but he was so awe struck walking into this beach house with the most beautiful view of the ocean you ask for (& might I say that I picked out…wife WIN)!!!!! We made family memories here for our lifetime! We enjoyed going to Lincoln Glass City Center (where you can blow your own glass!), MO’s, and hunting for glass floats along the beach! The casino is just a quick ride for anyone wanting a different kinda getaway! This stay was just what everyone needed & we will be back for sure!!!

We found a dead mouse in front of the fireplace upon check in. The house has old wiring which made it hard to use some of the plug ins and could use a good dusting. Overall the location is great though.

The house has a fantastic view and comfortable furniture. I would make note that the listing has "2 full baths" but there is actually only one shower. Beach access is a short walk away. Worked well for our group of 4, might have been tight for 6.

Perfect location. Enjoyed our stay but house really needs updating. Bathtub in hall bathroom had continuous drip that could not be stopped, tiles missing from wall. In kitchen there were a lot of ants so had to get some traps at the store to set around counter to make preparing food more manageable.

Awesome beachfront vintage three bedroom home with original style remaining

This is a This is an old 1957 Beach House that has been kept to its vintage original style.We had the best time we have ever had on the Oregon beach and this home does need a few little updates but had everything we needed.We especially loved the 50 foot window on the full West Beach front side of the house. Totally totally amazing.Even though we stayed in the winter over the New Year’s Eve it was very quiet and a time we will never forget, watching the waves and the ships go by fishing for seafood and comfortable to read a nice book.We will return .

Amazing view

Long front window setting view of the ocean. Everything was great except we checked in late in the evening in the winter. The temperature was set at 55 degrees. It took awhile for the place and the beds to warm up. It would have been nice for someone to set the temperature higher prior to the night that we check in. Otherwise, we had no complaints.

The location is perfect but the house was steaming hot during the day. The two fans did nothing to cool things down. Couldn't cook dinner . it was just too hot. Absolutely no air flow in the front of the house. Also alot t of the outlets don't work and spark. Seems like A hazard. We did have a nice vacation. Just s few recommendations.

Roads End

Nice home built in the 50's most likely with original interior for the most part. Beautiful views. Beach access 2 or 3 doors down. Would not recommend to someone with a walking disability unless they sleep in the queen bed on the ground level floor. There are steps to the laundry and King room. King room was very nice but could use new sheets. The current sheets were extremely thin and felt like you were sleeping with sheer curtains. I don't know about the other beds. The main room can get very hot if there is sun on the windows even with the weak air conditioner running and the blinds pulled down. kitchen was adequate. Would be fun with a small group of adults and maybe kids too as there was a very large deck that would be safe for kids to play on. Very homey.

Sea Lyons - Great Views - Many Steps

The property is a great location with great views. Not far to walk to reach the beach. The house is full of different levels, even though it's only one level. There are is a step down into the main bathroom. Two steps down from the kitchen to the large bedroom. One step down from the kitchen to a hallway, and another step down to get out the side door and access the back deck. There is no door directly to the deck, must walk around the side of the house. The furniture is comfortable, with room for quite a few. The table is large and works well for puzzles. The kitchen is small...tiny stove and dishwasher. The house worked well for our group of 5 adults. The large bedroom has a sliding door which does not work without much effort, missing hardward on the top of the door to make it work on the track. Had to physically lift the door and pull it to even get it partway closed...wouldn't close all the way. No privacy as that room can be seen into from the dining room, kitchen, and back hallway.

The windows are the best part of this house.

This is a 1960s house with renovations, the best of which are the windows. The cost to stay suggests a more refined house than it is. There are structural blips, such as a small step into the bedroom, which was likely once a garage. This step will trip you up on your way back to the bathroom and should be marked, possibly with a light strip to double as a night light. There is only one shower, so although the house sleeps five or six, everyone will be trundling into the master bath to shower. This shower is barely big enough to turn around in and you certainly can't bend over, so don't drop the soap. Know that Meredith expects you to strip the beds and start a load of laundry. Cooking pots in the kitchen are all teflon, and are all old with visible wear and scratches. If you avoid peeling teflon for health reasons, you might want to plan for other cooking options.

Great location with comments

My wife and I, along with a friend, spent a week at the property this June. The location is great. Being in Lincoln City gave us easy access to retail shopping of all kinds. The property was very clean and well furnished. Mattresses in the master and second queen bedroom were very comfortable. We did not use the third bedroom with twin beds but discovered it's the best place to sit and listen to the ocean. There were a few issues that I thought worthy of pointing out. The bathroom with tub (no shower) has no electric outlets to plug in your electrical goodies. There is only one three-pronged plug in the whole house, so bring some adapters. There is a pocket door designed to provide privacy for the master bedroom. It was off its track and rendered useless. The kitchen faucet was almost impossible to stop dripping. The kitchen is fairly well appointed aloghough the pans need to be addressed. They're old and in very bad shape. If you plan on cooking you might want to bring your own sharp knives as there are none on the property. Access to the back deck is odd. You exit through a side door, walking along a hodgepodge of brick pavers and then step up to get to the deck. No outside grill. The panoramic views from the main living area are, as pictured, stunning. We wished there were windows to open in the livingroom though, so we could hear the ocean. Ended up getting our ocean sounds either by sitting in the third bedroom or by opening the side screen door.

Beautiful oceanfront experience!

It doesn't get much better than oceanfront. This is a quaint oceanfront home with all of the basics to provide for a perfect escape. Close to walking path down to ocean!
