Lovely, secluded getaway

My husband, dog, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin itself was very clean and comfortably furnished. The hot tub was clean and working well. We didn't use the outside shower as it was quite chilly during our stay, but the fancy bathtub was awesome. The cabin is a "smart" home so there is a bit of a learning curve. The only issue we had with it during our stay was that one of the iPads that controls the television was not working when we arrived. However, Josh (the farmer), came over the next day to fix it. We didn't have any issues after that. For those bringing their dog, the deck has a nice gate that closes it off. Our dog loved hanging out on the deck looking at all the trees and being visited by the friendly neighborhood farm dogs. It was a huge bonus for us not having to worry about her running off. If you have AT&T as your cell service just be aware that it doesn't work in the cabin, but the WiFi in the cabin works well. My husband's Verizon service did work. The roads leading to the cabin can be a little scary if you aren't used to mountain roads so I would recommend arriving in the daylight. The closest grocery is about 20 minutes away down the mountain so I would suggest stocking up before you arrive. The cabin only has a small, dorm-sized refrigerator, but we didn't have any issues filling it with food for our 4 day stay. There were also plenty of pots, pans, and dishes in the cabin to use for cooking along with some spices/oil. There is also a lot to see on the farm. They have a gorgeous tree house and lots of animals. The farmer on the property, Josh, was super friendly and helpful to use during our stay. You can tell that he loves the property and working on the farm. He didn't seem bothered by any of our questions. Overall, we had a great stay and would love to come back to this cabin again. Highly recommend!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

If you are looking to get out of Asheville for a few days this is the perfect place. Everything about the listing was as shown and the cabin was perfectly prepared when we arrived. It is at the end of winding country road and very secluded. Getting into/out of town is about 30-45 minutes which fit perfectly into our weekend but if you are looking to be out more, it may not fit your style. The outdoor shower was nice and cold temps weren't an issue when using (just the chilly wind was!). I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away from it all but still being close enough to drive in for a nice dinner, enjoying one of Asheville's breweries, or visiting any of Asheville's highlights.

Wintry Wonderland

First off, the pictures did not do this cabin justice. Absolutely beautiful and perfect amount of space for our family of 3. It was an adventure to drive up the mountain to the cabin but it was all worth it. We walked in and the host provided us with an Asheville goodie bag filled with snacks, a bottle of wine and a welcome card. Cabin had all the amenities provided and was very clean and organized. Property is very large so we got to explore it's surroundings as well as the firepit, hot tub, and hammock. We were able to visit downtown Asheville (a 20 min drive) and take in the city while eating some really good food and enjoying a few of breweries. Later that weekend, our cabin became a wintry wonderland as winter storm Izzy came thru leaving 10-12 inches of snow for 2 days, thus we were able to utilize the cabin's cozy fireplace. We highly recommend staying here and we will be back but I don't know if we will be that lucky next time and get to experience all that snow again.

Beautiful Cabin

Had a fantastic, relaxing stay at this property. Plenty of nice small touches at the cabin. Hot tub + Soaking tub were a definite highlight. Delightfully secluded. We didn't leave the property our entire stay!

Perfect getaway

We visited to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was perfect. I was bummed that I hadn't reserved the cabin for an extra night! The extra local goodies were a wonderful little bonus and much appreciated! I had a little trouble locating the cabin but I called the owner and she was very kind and understanding! I can't rave enough good things!

Very relaxing getaway!

The cabin offered a great stay for a brothers fishing getaway. The cabin was immaculate with all the amenities of home. A bottle of local wine and handcrafted popcorn greeted us upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed as well as an excellent selection of coffee and teas. The grill, situated next to a koi pond, was a convenient place to unwind with the boys. The porch offered inviting seating to relax and watch the frequent birds visiting the feeder. The hot tub was great way kick back at the end of the day The cabin is a perfect place to find solitude but is also convenient for little adventures to Max Patch, Hot Springs, or Asheville. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking some serenity and nature.

Excellent Stay!

Everything about this place was just as advertised and even better! The location was a little tough on my sedan because of the gravel road on the way up the mountain path, but other than that it was great! Plenty of towels, amenities, appliances, and anything else you could want. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone that is thinking of coming.

Wonderful weekend get-away!!!

We walked in and immediately loved the cabin! We loved all of the special touches and decorations. The throw on the den couch and the way the benches around the kitchen table were set up gave it such a cozy and homey feel. The stain glass windows in the kitchen are beautiful. Every little touch from the wine bottle on the kitchen table, the local bag of popcorn, the local shampoo/conditioner and bath soap in the bathroom,and the cute wooden tray on the bed with the local chocolate was really special. It was especially nice right now since everything in Asheville is essentially shut down due to COVID-19. It was like we had a little taste of Asheville right here since we couldn't leave - thank you - we appreciated that so much. Actually, it was just supposed to be my husband and I getting away to celebrate my 40th birthday, but with the kids plans changing last minute... we ended up bringing them with us. The loft upstairs was great... we just couldn't find the sheets and when I called the number we didn't get anyone to ask. My husband and I said that we have never stayed in a cabin that was so fully stocked with spices, sandwich bags, k-cups, firewood (even in large bags to keep it dry). With all of the restaurants being closed right now - we cooked every meal here and had everything that we needed. We did a lot of hiking this weekend and enjoyed every minute that we were here. You guys are great and seriously thought of everything - and we'll be back! We just hope the next time we come it will be a romantic weekend without the kids ;)!

Great little get away!

Absolutely incredible

This quiet cabin was everything we could have asked for. It’s so peaceful, the cabin was immaculate and so clean, and truly went above our expectations. It was so accommodating!! we felt right at home with all the amenities. They make sure you have absolutely everything....from hot tub towels, to full size bottles of shampoo, to news paper to start a bonfire, and even bug spray! We felt so at home and enjoyed our stay so much me are already planning on booking this cabin again in the near future. Hats off to the owners of this place, because they truly outdid themselves. They made our one year wedding anniversary so special. (Also it’s an easy drive into Asheville) 10/10 :)

Perfect honeymoon

The property is secluded and so peaceful. We had plans to go out and explore but we couldn't bring ourselves to leave the cabin! Everything was spotless and cozy- it felt like home. We will definitely be coming back.

Attention to Details

We had a great stay at this cabin! The attention to the little details was wonderful, the cabin location is beautiful, and we loved the outdoor areas. Everything was clean and tidy and the little extra touches of the local fares was appreciated. Even when we had some issues with the water, we were able to easily get in touch with the property manager and she handled everything from there! The problem was quickly resolved (considering it was a holiday weekend) and we appreciated how she kept in touch during the entire process. Also, I will say that the location of the cabin was a bit difficult to find, but once we were there, the experience was everything we could have hoped for. I would definitely recommend this property and visit it again in a heartbeat!

Exceeded Expectations

Cabin was nice and peaceful. The hot tub was a added bonus. The table next to the little coy pond was a great way to start off the morning with breakfast. The outdoor shower was different but was a added change. My wife was thrilled to see the bottle of wine that was left for us. We were celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We will strongly consider staying again. The only drawback really was they were only a mini fridge. If we had planned on staying a week we would have wanted more room to store groceries, but we only stayed the weekend.

I enjoyed my stay did have a few issues however. Some towels had a mold smell to them, the fireplace smelled like strong gas when i got it going. Also had an issue with the heat being on times intervals and the internet reception wasn't great. Outside of that it was wonderful. Pieceful and quiet cozy great place to relax my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay

Amazing cabin and scenery from inside and outside. The view of the sunset over the mountains from the hot tub was better than expected, and the cabin was also very modern and beautiful. We never left it.
