Vast Sky Mountain View Studio located just North of Downtown Asheville Walking!!

Ample sized lower level studio featuring fantastic views of our Western North Carolina mountains and downtown Asheville's growing skyline. Our home is close to the many things that make Asheville one of the BEST CITIES to live and visit. The legendary Grove Park Inn, Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, River Arts District, French Broad River, Pisgah National Forest, NC Arboretum, and that's just a quick fly by!

Keypad entry. Queen Bed. Sofa is a Twin XL for additional traveller, we also offer a complimentary Pack N Play as well. Linens included during your stay. We offer coffee and tea for Keurig with creamer and sweetener. Mini fridge. Dinnerware for your take-out meals. Glassware for your wine, local brews, and distillery finds to enjoy on outdoor living area.

You'll have the entire lower level studio all to yourselves. Also the lower deck outdoor living space is there for you to enjoy light refreshments or some local take out! Parking is a few steps to the keyless entry for ease of unpacking your things after what may have been a long drive. Come unwind in our Asheville home! You are most welcome!

We will be available via text throughout your stay. We will respect your privacy, but would be happy to talk and provide tips and suggestions anytime. you'd like.

We do live upstairs and have three lovely dogs. We will do our best to keep the noise to a minimum as much as possible with the normal everyday of living life. And our pups are like any typical dogs, at first they may bark when they hear a car door close, but once they acclimate they are fine.

The Grace Neighborhood is quiet and walkable. The Grove Park Inn is a 15 minute walk, The Botanical Gardens at Asheville is a 10 minute walk, Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company is a 5 minute walk, Luella's BBQ is a 10 minute walk, and several tasty frozen dessert options are all within minutes walk or drive. Driving is easy in this town but we suggest visiting some places on foot if your able. There are sidewalks in most of Asheville as well as a bus system. Uber and Lyft also operate here. There is parking for 1-2 average size vehicles, or 1 large vehicle.

Great stay. Location was a big plus. I would not drive my truck again, as the neighborhood streets are a bit congested. We did have an issue at the apartment but it was resolved by that afternoon. Apartment was clean and again a great local.

Great find

I loved this place. Wake up to the sound of bird song and the scent of fresh unpolluted air. The unit has everything you need (dishes, coffee maker). There’s a soaker tub w jets that is relaxing but can’t be bathed in (no shampoo/soap is allowed in the tub). Locationwise, you can walk to restaurants and University, but it took me 22 minutes to get where I needed to go, not 10 minutes as advertised, so make sure you get those details before you book.

comfortable place to stay

In a quiet, safe neighborhood with easy access to anywhere you want to go. Very clean and comfortable, comfortable bed and couch to sleep on. A great place as home base to explore Asheville. My only complaint was a loud thud that woke me and my son at 2 in the am, but that may have been a fluke.

The Biltmore Trip

We stayed over one night . It was a short trip planned as and extra stop at the end of a 4 day trip to specifically see the built more on a Sunday before traveling back home to Texas . The place was well suited for the over night stay.

Nice neighborhood lots to do

Great stay here with so much to do in Asheville and beyond, and even things to see and great restaurants within walking distance. Be prepared for hills if you’re walking! Hosts were great and the room was comfortable and clean. Nice studio apartment. We would stay again!

It was a warm and comfortable area. quick and simple to the Biltmore and down town. Clean, comfortable and big. I will stay here next time when we come to Asheville again. I would recommend 👌! It beats staying in the hotel.....

Amazing

The property was a perfect distance to all of the spots! We loved Vinnie’s right across the street - great Italian dinner! We were very impressed with how clean the studio was, and we barely heard people above us. I really liked the extra touches like flowers, chocolates, bottled water, and popcorn! Great place and definitely would recommend again.

Vast Sky

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary in Asheville at this lovely property. It was clean and comfortable and I felt like the owners went out of their way to make it special with flowers and candy and happy anniversary wishes on the blackboard. I have no complaints only praise!

Lovely Peaceful Hideaway

I had an easy check-in after arriving very late due to car trouble. Clean, quiet unit in a beautiful location and community. A few details about this property to help you make a decision: - no air conditioning but the overhead fan/light was definitely sufficient due to mountain air keeps things cool. - driveway is a steep hill and you need to slightly manuevre to back out of it - suggest a smaller vehicle but I had no problems with it at all - Consider it more like a hotel because mini fridge is in living room, sink is the bathroom sink and coffee maker/supplies is on bathroom counter. - small garbage bins in room but the larger garbage bin is steps away from the unit. - outdoor furniture is small and not super comfortable but nice for short stays because the view is wonderful. - bed is comfortable and plenty of plugs for electronic devices - if you need a "work desk" this unit doesn't really have one. There is a narrow table against a wall but wouldn't be ideal for working on a laptop. - Wifi with Internet worked on my laptop but I wasn't able to get internet connection on my iphone. Overall a pleasant stay and I'd stay in this unit again because it's lovely and you can walk to the farmer's market on Saturdays and also to the University campus.

My partner and our 3 children live in the upstairs of our home. We have lived in Asheville for the past 20 years and really love raising our kids here. Our kids are 7, 9, and 11 years old. We, as a family, love to travel and see new places every chance we get. When we are not traveling we are rafting the rivers, swimming in the waterfalls, or walking to the Brew and View for pizza, beer, and a movie.

We purchased this home for the view. This location is close to everything we need. We can walk to almost anything we could ever want.

What makes this property unique

Something that we didn't anticipate when we purchased this home was the wildlife. We have seen wild turkeys, bears, and a verity of beautiful birds from our front porch.
