We will never stay anywhere else! This gorgeous home is a paradise. Close to everything with a real Santa Fe feel. We love it and come back any single time we can.
The house was definitely a great find and we will likely be renting it again in the future. It was nice - very clean and spacious (perfect for families with kids) - and just a block from Canyon Road.
Our family had a wonderful vacation here. We loved the charming sun room and courtyard, and the neighborhood was very walkable with easy access to a park and canyon road. The kids loved their bunk beds and overall the house was very cozy and comfortable.
House was well equipped with all things you might need. Excellent location. Great yard. Quiet neighborhood. Excellent park nearby for the dogs. Owner had great communication and was super helpful.
Professional photography would make this property really pop. It was hard to get a a sense of how things were laid out. Ultimately the description was accurate, but the photos didn’t do it justice. I was hesitant to pay the asking rate based on photos alone. 4/5 stars for that. Location is great. Driveway and parking was better than expected. Lack of central air conditioning was noticeable. Weather was in the upper 80s while we stayed. The bunk kids room is very fun and the two additional bedrooms were adequate size but had just full size beds.Owners were easy to communicate with and did accommodate a request we had.
Perfect home in the most historic section of Santa Fe
This is our probably 10th time staying at this property, and it is perfect every time. It's historic, beautiful, cozy and in the absolute perfect location in Santa Fe. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
Perfect location for walking to Canyon St and town. Beautiful adobe home. Lovely fireplace and yard. It's a little dark inside but otherwise a perfect romantic getaway. It was well stocked with all amenities.
Lovely house and yard. Big house with many rooms. Kids loved exploring the backyard and playing in the kids room. There was a lot to offer for the family. Great location to Canyon Road. Our only issue was that there were a lot of little bugs around the house.
The home is large, rambling, and quite charming.
The living areas are spacious and very attractive.
The bathrooms are good, the bedrooms small but sufficient.
The patio is wonderful, the grounds are generous but need tending.
Parking is good but requires driver dexterity.
The neighborhood and Acequia Madre are beautiful.
We would stay again.
We really enjoyed staying in this 200-year-old adobe house in a grove of aspens. It's one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Santa Fe, and the house is very comfortable. It's one story but it spreads out so you can find private areas and nooks where you can read, study. There's a whole area for kids with bunk beds and lots of toys, and there are helpful books on hiking around Santa Fe. It's very well equipped, and makes staying in the area delightful.
Everything was easy and comfortable about this home. The pictures don't do it justice. There's a big back yard with beautiful porch that is not even in the pictures. The only slight downside was the yard/ porch could have used a little sprucing up. Overall very satisfied and will rent again.
Right around the corner from a lovely park and the Tea House. Large older home with lots of character. We did have quite a few box elder bugs in the house, maybe through the fireplaces? But they don’t bite or sting, so we just tried to peacefully co-exist. I don’t think the pictures do this house justice- it’s really cool!
Words cannot express how beautiful this home was. The entire house was thoughtfully decorated, well equipped and certainly large enough for our family of four adults, with plenty of quiet spaces for those who needed to work during the day.
Tucked in a quiet neighborhood, but still close enough to walk for coffee.
Our daughter and son were able to walk to the downtown shopping area and loved it. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
We definitely recommend this home!
This is a very warm and cozy large authentic old Santa Fe home in a wonderful historic neighborhood. When not enjoying the gorgeous neighborhood walk down Canyon Road to town, we spent many hours enjoying our time around the fireplace and preparing meals in the well appointed kitchen. We felt so at home and communication with our wonderful host, Katherine, made us so at ease. It was just 4 of us in the large home and we wished our extended family could have been with us to take full advantage of all the home offered. I would highly recommend this wonderful home.
Cool house. A nice combination of western/Santa Fe and country French style. Could use some updating and freshening though. Yard could be amazing with some tending. Back patio has great potential as well. Enjoyed our coffee in the mornings there. Please note that there is no AC. Fans are provided. Beds are ok. Linens are nice. Easy walk to Canyon Road and overall a good stay.
