Lovely older home in West Asheville within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants. The front porch was a great spot to unwind in the evening. The hostess had a well stocked kitchen for cooking, tea and coffee. Parking is on the street so I was glad we brought a smaller car with us . Easy access to explore Asheville and the mountains nearby. Would stay here again.

Clean rooms. Outside was unkept and needed attention. Was not informed of long term tenants in the lower level of the house . Should have been disclosed on the website. Was not as close to restaurants and shops. Said was walking distance and was not. Neighbor seemed unsafe and was not well lit.

Hi Diane. I’m sorry you had a negative stay. The points you speak of in your review are surprising given they are not feedback we have received before in our 15 yrs of renting this space or our experience of living in this house for 10 years beforehand. It is written in two separate spots in the property description of our listing that we have a long-term tenant, a woman living in the downstairs apartment of the house. Also as clearly stated in the listing description, our house is a 1 1/2-2 blocks away from about 10 different restaurants, a co-op, coffee shops, etc. and the location and walk ability of our property is often a highlight for most guests. I’m sorry that wasn’t your experience. I’m also confused about the unsafe neighbor comment. Our three closest neighbors have been our neighbors for over 25 years. Two are single, elderly folks who are very friendly, and our other neighbor is a preschool teacher, single mother living with her teenage child. I’m sad your experience wasn’t what you were hoping for.

I absolutely loved this adorable bungalow. Great boho vibe and beautiful deck for morning coffee and listening to the birds. Can we talk about the location? Literally walking distance to cute restaurants and shops and everything else is 10 minutes away. The host was incredible. Easy check in and retuned my 2 texts immediately. Never needed to contact her, because everything was perfect. Stayed for 7 nights and we’ll definitely be back!

My friend and I had such a nice stay here. The location could not have been better! The house was so cozy, cute, and comfortable. The owner also communicated well before our stay. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Asheville.

Well appointed house that had everything you would need ( cooking spices, tea, coffee, extra linens , toilet paper ect…) Also very convenient location to walk to restaurants, coffee shop and brewery. Great that we also had access to lots of extra channels on TV. Will certainly keep listing for future stays.

The host was super kind and helpful (we loved all the tip notes). She provided plenty of towels and other little details that showed such thoughtfulness. House has lots of charm. Great location, nestled in a lovely neighborhood and an easy walk to multiple coffee shops and stores.
