Holiday
We stayed here with our extended family over a long weekend. The views from the bach were the main reason why we booked and they did not disappoint. The cleanliness of the Bach was not great on arrival, it was clear that only a surface level clean had been done for some time. The bunk bed is very squeaky, which didn’t help when trying to get the kids to sleep. Good location with only a short walk to the jetty and waterfront.

Thank you, Richard, for sharing your thoughts following your long weekend with family.
We're pleased to hear the views lived up to your expectations and that the location close to the waterfront worked well for your group. That said, we're sorry the presentation of the property fell short on arrival. A deep clean has already been scheduled to bring the standard back up to where it should be. We’ve also checked the bunk beds to ensure they remain safe for use and are working to reduce the noise they make for a better night’s rest.
We appreciate your feedback and hope we can welcome you back for a more seamless stay in future.

Neglected and dirty
This was by far the most neglected and dirtiest property we ever rented as a holiday accommodation. The carpet was full of hair, the entrance area had lot's of spider webs. Dishes and cutlery had to be washed before we could use them. Totally unacceptable.

I’m truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. I completely understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the condition of the property during your stay. This is definitely not the experience we want to provide our guests.
The issues you’ve raised with the carpet, spider webs, and unclean dishes are completely unacceptable. I’m addressing these concerns with our cleaning team to ensure that the property is thoroughly cleaned and maintained before each guest arrives. We’ll be taking extra care to ensure that no detail is overlooked in the future.
I truly regret that your holiday experience was negatively impacted by these issues, and I appreciate you bringing them to my attention. Your feedback is incredibly important, and I’ll be taking immediate action to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
I sincerely hope you were able to enjoy some aspects of your stay despite these challenges, and I would love to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future with a much improved experience.
Size and layout are perfect for families. Plenty of toys and activities available. Lovely location and views. Very clean and tidy inside. Comfortable beds. The exterior of the house needs attention, but from the inside all good.

Disappointing- great location and views but a work in progress
This property has great potential but it is still a work in progress. On the positive: great views, handy to Picton, quiet neighbourhood. Interior decorations completed to date have modernised the home. Negatives: But there are no hand rails on the steps from the external decks to the land. The safety rail on the eastern deck by the left hand steps would not save anyone. Weather boards are in poor condition, many requiring full replacement. Dish washer does not dispense powder so poor wash. Those seated on the bench seat at the dining table once in cannot get out. Flat tyres on bikes and no sign of bike pumps. Only found two of the four moon chairs. Requested additional bath towels but told there is a washing machine. No hand towel in the toilet off the bunk room. No flowing soap in any of the bathrooms. I feel it was overpriced for what we got. Sorry.
