What a gem of a find. A beautiful traditional home in quieter area of Higashiyama, close to station and convenience stores and walking distance to key sites. Felt very welcome in the area. Lots of room and excellent facilities. The bedrooms are upstairs which might prove problematic for anyone with mobility issues but we loved the set up. The host was lovely, met us on arrival and was very responsive to all correspondence.
Our family of five occupied the property during autumn season in Kyoto and it was an amazing place to stay at. It's on a quiet neighborhood. Yasaka Shrine is within walking distance. Train station is around 10 minutes walk. We walked to the main road to call for taxi but I think it can enter the neighborhood if you call through the app. Satoru, the property manager is very helpful and accomodating and responds immediately if you have questions. This property is highly recommended to stay at.

Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review, Roviena!
It warms my heart to hear that you and your family had an amazing stay during the autumn season in Kyoto. I'm glad you enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the convenience of being close to Yasaka Shrine, and the ease of accessing transportation. Your tip about using an app to call taxis directly to the neighborhood is very helpful for future guests.
I truly appreciate your kind words about my assistance. It was my pleasure to ensure your stay was as comfortable as possible. Your recommendation means a lot to us! We hope to welcome you and your family again in the future.
Best regards,
Satoru

Hi. My name is Kei. I was born and raised in Kyoto. My family has lived here for more than 250 years. I renovated my houses and started B&B simply because it's very fantastic to meet new guests and to have conversations with them. As a genuine Kyotoite, it would be great if I can show you the core beauty of Kyoto.
