Hi Lorraine: you never called me during your stay nor reported any problems or damage. So we assumed you had no problems or issues. We don’t feel that a one star actually represents our spectacular views and wonderful Condo on top 12 floor. You also did not follow our vacation rental agreement, which You signed & Accepted as is furnished. If you’re picky & demanding then rent elsewhere, as per our signed agreement with you. Our Myrtle Beach Ocean Park 1208 Condo has a 1000’ floorplan as shown in the Vrbo pics, as well as video and pictures of each room. Upgrades made every year since 2005. Condo is clearly an accurately represented by pictures and video on Vrbo. We also offer you a 75 reimbursement fee for ice or whatever else you need, but you did not ask for anything during your stay. We did give you a 588 discount and waived a 50 pet fee. You actually are paying for the spectacular direct oceanfront view on top 12 floor since you’re paying for time and location.

Hi CJ: Yes, we are constantly updating our OP1208 condo on top 12th floor with spectacular direct oceanfront views. We just added new 2” gel foam mattress topper on master bedroom queen bed in July ‘19. We also added a new clothes dryer for $715 in July ‘19. We do plan to add new furniture as it breaks or becomes worn out and we procure it. Thank you. Owner

Here is a list of OP1208 renovations since 2005 & over 25,000: New HVAC (destroyed by Hurricane on roof), New balcony concrete/epoxy/rubber coating, New carpet, New 43” smart HDTV, 2 New 32” smart HDTVs, New flat top stove, New dishwasher, New recently painted interior in light gray Aria color, New refrigerator, new washer and dryer, New furniture (used hard by guests and dogs), 2 New beds with 2” gelfoam toppers, New sliding glass doors wheels, 3 Hurricane repairs in last 5 years, 1023/month HOA plus 500+ special assessment. We upgrade it every year but guests and dogs are hard on it. Condo built in 1980s. Here is what we have done: 2 new HVACs, refrigerator (salt air causes orange stain on outside door), carpet, beds, 3 HDTVs, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, flat top stove, microwave, futons., etc. You are paying for time and location (spectacular views from direct oceanfront condo on top 12th floor). If you had called owner during your stay we could have replaced more. You also accept our condo as is, as per our signed vacation rental agreement form with you. Thank you! Stewart

Yes, your right, no instructions. 😫🙀But, If you Had called or texted or emailed me during your stay, I’d quickly tell you that the dryer vent is inside the new dryer. It dries slow since 120 volt. We received about 15 pictures from this guest at check in. No complaints during his stay. His son called me on Wed (5th day) to say HVAC was not cooling. We immediately called CMS and they replaced the capacitor., HVAC fixed, cooling good per this guest. No complaints and fixed. Our OP1208 condo has spectacular views, Very Nice and updated every year! We are in the process of buying a third clothes washing machine since 2005 and have upgraded the following and spent over $25,000 on condo in upgrades: Condo interior newly repainted in light gray “Aria” color in 11/20, new carpet 2009, New flat top stove 2009, New dishwasher 2012 & new under cabinet microwave 2012, new 43” HDTV 2020, 2 new 32” HDTVS in bedrooms in 2019, 2 new HVACs in 2016 and 2006, New fridge - 2015, New furniture 2016, New beds 2017, New sliding glass doors wheels 2018, 3 Hurricane repairs totaling over $6000 in damages. He also broke our garbage disposal. He was very picky and demanding. Would not rent to him again. Stewart - owner

Thanks! But That’s your opinion. Thousands of other guests have loved our condo on top 12th floor with spectacular views. We have spent over $25,000 in upgrades since 2005. Also, very high high HOA fee of $1256/mo. Maybe read our VRBO ad, look at recent pictures and owner vacation rental agreement before renting. Also, When you checked in, you went to the wrong condo and caused owner serious problems for days. 1st time in 30 years of renting homes.
