We stayed during UT graduation. Great location, central to everything, and we thought easily walkable as well. You are right in the thick of it, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring a white noise machine. The apartment was well appointed and beautifully and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfy. Parking is close by and free on weekends. Plenty of space for large/multiple families. And the rooftop deck was the icing on all of the cake. Great for pics and for creating “space” with/between family members. We were very happy!!!

Perfect Downtown Getaway

We can’t wait to stay here again! The big, beautiful windows overlooking Gay St were so fun to sit by and watch the busy streets. The decor, open floor plan, and comfy beds made us want to stay forever! Definitely booking again!

Amazing Place

We had an amazing stay at this rental. The space was just as advertised and was even bigger than we expected. It was clean and the furnishings were top notch. The property manager was super communicative and very accommodating. I would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Knoxville is a great town and Tailor Lofts is in the heart of it! I'm from the East Tennessee area and am most excited to be sharing Knoxville with people from all over. There are always fun things going on in Knoxville. Market Square, the Old City, and World's Fair Park always seem to have something happening. And then there is always Tennessee football!
The City of Knoxville offers hundreds of acres with outdoor opportunities in diverse park and green-way settings – including forests, flower-covered fields, quarry lakes, creeks, rivers, and exciting bluffs, many located within just a few minutes of downtown.

The Smoky Mountains in all their splendor are right outside our backdoor. They always refresh my soul. Whether it's a hike in the mountains or a bike ride around Cades Cove, there is no place I would rather be than East Tennessee!

Why they chose this property

Many Knoxvillians still refer to this building as the Arby's Building. Arby's did serve customers for more than three decades here. The building was completely renovated in 2014 and now houses nine apartments and Blackhorse Pub and Brewery.

What makes this property unique

Just step outside Tailor Lofts (or walk downstairs to the restaurant/bar on the ground floor) and you are in the heart of downtown Knoxville. From concerts to canoeing, museums to music festivals, memories are made here in Knoxville. The city is home to a number of festivals, highly acclaimed museums, fantastic civil war sites, a world class zoo, and a unique Urban Wilderness that offers 1,000 acres of adventure within the city limits. You will find that Knoxville is also one of the most vibrant cities for live music. Music is on its streets and stages throughout the city. All of this just steps away from you when you stay at Tailor Lofts!
