A great spot on the lake! The house was clean, had the needed amenities, and ready for arrival and not far from shopping and other amenities. Overall it was a great location to stay and we look forward to visiting again!

Lovely, rustic lake house with incredible views. Host is very communicative and easy to get ahold of if needed. Clean and unique cabin with lots of natural light and comfortable furnishings. Bathrooms are small but convenient. The entry road is long and winding with steep grades, so bring a vehicle that has good traction.

Stayed 3 nights/4days. The house is very clean and roomy. A homey feel as soon as you walk through the door. We docked our pontoon at the dock but only left the dock once because we were having so much luck parked right at the house! Steve said the fishing was good from the dock and he was right! My 5 year old grandson caught his first channel cat and we loved every second of it! Nothing like the thrill of a child’s first big catch! We enjoyed the dock as much as the house! The walk to the dock wasn’t bad my 83 year old father with a heart condition made it with ease when he visited us there. We made such great memories there and if Steve will have us again we will be back!!Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for good fishing, a homey, comfortable, roomy, and clean place to stay !!

What a beautiful dream stay! Steve was so kind he called us when we didn't come in when expected, due to missing a connecting flight. But, this serial, calm, home and property on the lake brought us back into peace and an enjoyable trip. Definitely will come stay here again with the whole family!

Beautiful property, great location

This house was perfect for us! It’s located on a quiet cove and close to everything. The house has an amazing view and had everything we needed for our stay. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. Great communication from the property owners, too. Highly recommend!

We were there for Virginia Tech graduation. We didn’t spend much time in the house but I bet it’s great for a weekend on the lake enjoying water activities.

Great spot for our family

Our family stayed during VT graduation weekend. The house was very comfortable. Everything we needed for making meals and eating together. Family enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, and there was plenty of space for us to gather and visit. It was a lovely location on the lake!

Hokies and the lake

Classic lake house. Family place for tons of fun. Virginia countryside awesome. Local Draper Mercantile a treasure spot and proximity to Va Tech perfect!!!

The trees were changing wished could stay longer. Next time come when can take advantage of the lake in the summer and boat around the lake.

Football Weekend at the Lake

This property continues to amaze. Second stay. This is great location for a weekend with friends. Access to lake is great for swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, etc. House easily accommodates 3 couples.
