This c1857 settlers cottage is nestled within historic Angaston in a quiet street walking distance to restaurants, shops and a 5min drive to several wineries.. Walnut Cottage is a quality self-contained BnB suppling generous provisions for cooked breakfast on the first morning and the rest a continental breakfast. The cottage has been extensively renovated to retain the charm of a bygone era with modern-day comforts. Enjoy the cosy open fire in winter with its cedar surround, genuine antiques and the large heritage-style bathroom with its restored claw-foot bath. You can cook in the fully equipped kitchen or walk to a local restaurant/cafe. Reverse-cycle air-conditioning ensures year-round comfort. Free WiFi.

Cosy, comfy and very relaxing

We relaxed immediately on arrival! Lydia was a great host, super responsive snd easy to communicate with. Property is well stocked. All the little extras and breakfast provisions fabulous! Super comfy beds and shower was just perfect- hot and strong. We will visit again.
