This was a lovely property with charm and character. Perfect location, close to Tanunda and easy driving to the whole of the Barossa. It was quiet and secure. We’d definitely recommend staying here.
We only briefly stayed at Bethany reserve cottage but it was such a quaint little accommodation. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very cosy stay with lots of little homey touches.JJ
What a gorgeous cottage. We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The quaint features made the stay so much more interesting.
The beds and linen were so comfortable…we slept like babes. The gardens surrounding the property was beautiful and allowed for an afternoon picnic with the birds.
The location is awesome with hiking, winery and exploring towns in close proximity.
Beautiful cottage in a great location. Very peaceful and the queen bed was especially comfortable. The kids loved the deep bath. The decorative curtains on the windows looked great but unfortunately didn't provide any protection against the light in either bedroom. The only other suggestion would be to have some comfortable chairs outside to enjoy the scenery.
The cottage was very clean, beds were comfortable and the owner was communicative and very helpful. We had a very relaxing weekend. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Cosy, clean and very comfortable. Great location and was very quiet and peaceful. The wood fire was fantastic as it was very cold and raining. Will definitely stay here again.
Everything was good. Would have been handy to know about the tv issue before we got there. We may have taken an Apple TV with us had we known. Not the end of the world though.
Not far from Tanunda or any of the Barossa towns. Lovely quiet road with bush and the Heysen Trail opposite, and lots of historic buildings to discover. Comfortable with more than enough space to find a quiet corner and read a book or finish a puzzle.
We had a wonderful stay at this cottage.
The highlight was walking up in the mornings to the magnificent dawn chorus from the garden and Bethany Reserve. Can't wait to go back.
Thank You
Was a lovely stay at Bethany Cottage, the cottage looks small but can comfortably cater for a couple or a family of up to 5. I actually loved the fact that there was no wifi, it was the first time in a long while that I was able to really rest without the distractions of the internet. You just get drawn into admiring the historic character of the home and the surroundings. The owners have left some books of the history of the area, which we enjoyed reading in the evenings; you get a real feel for how such an iconic part of the state developed. The rooms are beautifully set out and spacious, with comfortable and fresh linen. It was cold when we stayed there, so the fireplace added much warmth to the evenings making the home feel cosy and secluded. The amenities were also excellent, and there is a nice picnic and BBQ spot right across from the home, which I think would be nice for families. Good price and well worth the stay, would definitely return and highly recommend.
Bethany Reserve Cottage Is Absolutely Beautiful ..
Is Our Number 1 Go To Stay ..
We Love This Cottage .. Have Stayed Here So Many Times .. Is Full Of Character Very Comfortable & Homely .. Enjoyed Relaxing by the Fire Or Outside on the Front Porch Overlooking the beautiful Garden With A Glass of Wine .. Julienne is always so lovely to deal with ..
The perfect place to kick off from each morning and to come back to for relaxing evenings. Close to everything we wanted, including Angaston where we took part in a cooking school, the wineries in the area, even had a game of mini golf at Tanunda. Great fun
