Owners very kind and accommodating, the animals are fun but our dog was a bit scared of Walter, the turkey, so Monica was sweet enough to get him from the porch a few times. Plenty of fire pits for nighttime relaxing and very close to hiking, restaurants in Huntington and activities at Rays town lake!

Love this place and the owners
The experience here is absolutley wonderful, peaceful, clean. The owners are amazing
It was very nice. Cabin located on the edge of a farm with horses, pigs, turkeys, geese, chickens, peacocks, and lots of cats and your still in the woods. Very quiet and ralaxing. Small cabin with just enough room. Cozy. Owners very nice and helpful.
Very nice little cabin but no lakefront as what was advertised. Very misleading and inaccurate information. Still had a nice time but 14 miles from Raystown Lake not a minute walk. Disappointed about that.
Just as advertised. Enjoyed sitting on back deck watching the animals. Hosts were super nice. Would definitely go back

There was dirt on the floors, insects that got in through gaps in the carpentry. I left around 11:00 PM the first night. It was a 20-minute drive to Raystown lake, not a 1-minute walk as I thought was advertised.

"We always want our guests to feel comfortable and well taken care of. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- The property listing accurately describes the location, including that Raystown Lake is a short drive away rather than walking distance.- The home is regularly cleaned and maintained, and past reviews have not raised concerns about floors or pests.- The owners strive to be accommodating and ensure each stay is as comfortable as possible. We’re confident that future guests will continue to enjoy the cabin’s welcoming atmosphere and peaceful setting."

Great Stay and Location for Kids
Accommodations were cozy and comfortable, property owner was so sweet and accommodating, animals are wonderful! Walder is apart of our family now too! Urban Saddle Ranch is our family's new annual vacation spot! See you next year!
Planned this trip to walk the 1000 steps standing stone trail as a sisters weekend. The owners are amazing and super friendly! Get folks to chat with and learn about their property. Being pet friendly is a big bonus, and everyone loved Walter and Captain! Thank you so much for an awesome place to stay!

A place to lay your head
Overall it was what you pay for. There was no AC which I should of noticed that wasn’t as part of the amenities. Two fans were provided. The key that they gave us to use did not work so we were unable to lock our doors when we left for the day. The electrical was questionable. The outlets sparked when plugging a phone charger in and the bathroom light above the toilet flickered on and off on its own. The water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower were terrible. The tv and dish cable worked great, there was clean sheets and pillows on the bed when we arrived. No towels, hand clothes, trash bag in the trash can were provided. Luckily I brought those things just in case. The curtains do not cover the entire windows so bring something to cover the windows otherwise everyone will see you get dressed.

Not clean- did not stay here
The property seemed great at first but upon further inspection it seemed that only surfaces had been cleaned. There was dirt under all of the furniture and there was animal fur all over the living room furniture. This was not much of a problem to us until I saw a cockroach in the bathroom on our first night there. We decided not to stay at the property and we were not even given a 50% refund after contacting Vrbo and the property the following day. Even told them this refund was not enough given that we did not even spend one night at the property and we were told that they will “see what they can do”. Over a week has gone by, no word from anyone. I’d say do not book here or with Vrbo if cleanliness is a concern for you.
The owners were extremely kind and polite. If we had needed anything I’m sure they would have been happy to help. Quiet property, lots of chickens and geese around but they did not disturb us at all. Beautiful area! Cabin was just as needed, small but very comfortable.
Thanks for such a nice place to stay!

Breath of fresh air
My son attends Juniata college so this location is perfect, being less than 15 minutes away from campus. This was my family's 3rd time staying at the ranch. I choose a different cabin each time to experience the ranch from a different vantage point. This last stay was by far the best. Even though the cabin was a little smaller then our previous cabins, we had animals abound. We routinely had ducks, chickens, and kittens on our front porch or back deck. We had dinner at the firepit with kittens in our lap. Those same kittens came again for breakfast the next day. We fed the horses carrots and apples and the pigs lettuce. It you truly enjoy being amongst animals, this surely is one of the best places to stay. It is far enough off the beaten path to experience a true "ranch stay" and yet close to restaurants and shopping. The cabins are so unique, the owners are incredibly personable and the animals are, well, everywhere in the best of ways. I would recommend Urban Saddle Ranch a 1,000 times!
The cabin was small, but nicely decorated. There was a good sized deck, outdoor grill, picnic table and a fire ring with 4 wooden chairs. The property was in the mountains so the area was on a slope. Our teenaged grandson loved the farm animals. The hostess was lovely, even giving us fresh farm eggs.
Urban Saddle Ranch is amazing! Such a great little getaway. The animals are all so friendly, the cabin was very clean and the hosts are wonderful - always making sure you have everything you need and telling you about the animals!
Cozy and clean cabin for my best friend of 40 years and me to reconnect and work on our scrapbooks. I loved all of the animals. Great location. Friendly and attentive hosts :)
We had a great time meeting all the animals and enjoying the sounds of nature and enjoying the fire. The location is awesome and the owners are great.

This property was a slice of heaven! Cabin camping with lots of friendly beautiful animals, ponies, horses, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, peacocks/hens. My wife and I spent our days feeding the animals and enjoying the rich farm smells with our dogs. Evenings inside with great facilities, cabin camping at its finest, far enough to be alone and yet not inconveniently far from town and the lake! 10/10 I’d recommend it and will be going back this time with our kids in tow!

Peaceful experience close up and personal with farm animals!
Perfect experience for quiet get away for animal lovers and outdoor enthusiast! Beautiful pond with lighted fountain, a few trails through the woods to explore. Up close and got to pet a loving turkey who sat with us by the fire pit and followed our dog around. Pet the horses, 1 month old pony, kitties, chickens and chicks, and little pigs. Lots of places to sit outside, relax and watch the beautiful horses running and eating. Cabins are simple and basic so do not expect "glamping". Bathrooms are tiny. Bed was comfy and clean sheets were in plastic. Bring your own towels and extra toilet paper/paper products. This is for "horse girls" and guys or those who aren't worried about their hair, nails and makeup! Bring boots as it gets muddy. And it is a bit rocky and hilly so if you have back, hip or knee issues, this may not be the place for you. Go 4 miles to eat at the Wildflower Cafe in Huntindon, PA. Plan to return in fall when leaves change. We enjoyed our time and had fun chatting with the owner and farm help.
