Cot/Highchair available. 2 minute walk to huge blue flag beach with paseo/promenade containing beach bars, cafe's, pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, (El Balandro is said to be the best for many miles), bakery, church (RC), shops selling beach toys/inflatables. The promenade/Paseo allows bus travel (inexpensive and air conditioned) to Torre Del Mar (15 mins) and Nerja to the left and Rincon De La Victoria (15 mins) and Malaga, La Cala Del Moral to the right.

Wonderful villa and views

We were a group of 5 adults ranging from 20 to 83 years old. We had a lovely stay, great location with wonderful views. Easy walk to restaurants, beach and small supermarket and only 30 mins taxi from airport. Very easy check in and out too, we would definitely return!

WOW !!! The villa, the location, it was just fantastic. The villa itself was brilliant, kitted out with everything you need. Quality pool, quality Internet and the TV was a good size and every channel you could wish for.Communication with our host, was also second to none, queries were answered via WhatsApp in literally minutes.We have been visiting the region for the past 30 years, can honestly say that this is one of the best villas we have stayed in.The only thing I will mention and by no means a criticism, there are two flights of steps accessing the property which could be challenging, under certain circumstances.The beach just a few minutes walk, beautiful clean sandy beach's and plenty of life guards looking out.Benajarafe is quiet, peaceful, does have several restaurants, small bars and local shops along with Mercadona, not too far away.A car isn't essential as all immediate needs are within walking distance. Great, Great villa & holiday.It really was !

Wonderful stay

Such a great time at the villa well equipped knives could do with a sharpen and the bathroom curtains need replacing but overall fabulous. Great location so easy to use the buses into towns. Lots of bars in east walk. Take out and shops

Stormy week!

Despite the unusually severe storms this week we had a lovely time. There is so much to do at the villa, nearby beach and area to suit all agrs. Our group of 10 spanned age 2 to 79! One of our highlights was paella cooked on the premises by Alejandro (the house manager)

Great villa, amazing big deep pool, great views. All we needed was there in the villa. Quiet location, shops and bars very close by. Recomend visiting chiringuito La Negra, with live music every weekend and great food!

Short sunshine break

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the villa. After months of rain, we were very lucky to arrive at the start of a beautiful week in Spain. The villa is great, well laid out for families to share and had everything we needed. The pool is also great and once we asked for the heating to be put on, was really fun to use, with beautiful sea views. We also enjoyed a delicious paella cooked by Alejandro at the villa one night and would highly recommend this too.

Beautiful views and pool

The villa is situated very well with stunning views. It is spacious with lots of areas to relax and unwind. Overall, it is rather run down and some of the beds were falling apart and very uncomfortable. Could do with a really good clean- under beds, cushions etc have not been cleaned in months. There was also black mould in one room.The hosts responded quickly to messages, but we asked for extra pillows and these never arrived. Other than those issues it is a great place to enjoy time with family. This was a 60th birthday celebration for me, with wonderful memories made

Villa was all it said it was. The resort was quiet, perfect for families. Bar and restaurants close by. Bus travel cheap, though somewhat unreliable with times. Recommend asking Alejandro to cook paella, excellent! Very good size pool. Spent fabulous 2 week holiday at the end of August

Nice villa

Villa overall was lovely, nice and spacious favourite area was around the pool. The pool was nice and big, lots of room around the pool to relax. The villa is located at the top of a hill and lots of steps, not good of your unsteady on your feet. Very Spanish area but Torre del mar is around 15 minute car ride away. Highly recommend eating at safari lounge in Torre del mar!

What a View!

Great villa had everything we needed Would have liked some larger bath towels and a guide to the local area would have been useful We ate at some of the beach chiringuitos and the food was excellent Its a good 30 minute walk along the sea to Mercadona The bakery to the right of the main road was great and there were a couple of small bars for a welcome coffee The pool is a great size and was warm enough to swim in unheated We all certainly thought it was good value for money and the view is just amazing The paella cooked by Alejandro was delicious

Fantastic villa for multiple families in a good location

We were 3 families staying at the villa for 10 nights. The villa is large enough both inside and out to feel that you're not on top of each other but has two terraces with lovely views and large dining tables where you can eat together in the shade. Lovely big pool which was very warm in the middle of August and plenty of sun loungers. The villa is situated an easy walk from the beach, local restaurants and shops. There is a small grocery store and bakery within walking distance and a large supermarket within a 5 minute drive. Loved the home cooked paella too! Thank you!

POOL PARTY IN Benajarafe

The property was ideal for our holiday in Spain. WE had a very good time . The beach was near by and it was clean, a far cry from the dirty beaches back in England. My grand daughter had had birthday holding a pool party. It was fantastic. My daughter had a marvelous BBQ for her 50th birthday. All in all we had an excellent holiday. I would recommend it to any one. The only hitch was we had water problem on the last day which somewhat spoilt our whole hearted endorsement.

Perfect family holiday!

Apon our arrival we were truly stunned by this villa, we were greeted by Paloma the house keeper who welcomed us and showed us around. I cannot express how stunning this villa is, pictures do not do justice! Having children with us we felt absolutely reassured as all windows had shutters and opening bedroom doors had secured balconies. The house was totally secure by an intercom entery gate at the bottom of the steps and put our mind to ease when going on day trips out. The pool was perfect and attended regularly withour any disturbance to ourselves. Being 10 of us, we worried about finding a place to accommodate us but this villa was perfect. The villa is located in a beautiful rural town with the most welcoming neighbours and citizens. Would 100% recommend, will definitely be returning in the future.

A villa with the most amazing view!

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at this villa. It’s well equipped with everything you could need. The outside area was the highlight for us as a family. A large deep pool with a covered terrace and a quality BBQ. The views are stunning! The area is typically Spanish which we loved and embraced, trying out our very limited Spanish on the locals who were very engaging as we were trying! The communication from Bill was spot on as was the communication with the housekeeper who met us at the villa to open up the house. One little point to note, the stunning views come with an incline up to the villa entrance with some additional steps to get to the property. It was worth every step to look out every day on such a stunning view. Overall one very successful holiday! Thank you.

Great villa in great location

Excellently equipped, clean, well-maintained villa, with great views over the village and the sea. Loads of space inside and out. Air-con in all the upstairs bedrooms. Kitchen was well-stocked with various utensils and cutlery. Outside, the pool is fantastic and thoroughly cleaned twice a week. There is more than enough tables, chairs and sunbeds. We were in a group of 11, and the place never felt crowded. There is a nice shaded dining area at pool level, where you get to look out over the sea while you're eating. There were also some pool toys for the kids in an outside store-room. The villa, from a distance, looks as if it is quite high up a hill, but the route up loops back and forward, so the incline is gradual rather than steep. My elderly parents were able to make it up two or three times a day in the scorching heat without any trouble. As a result of the height, you get the wonderful views, and are not overlooked. From the villa, it is only a 2 minute stroll to the main promenade in the village, where all the services are. On booking, I was worried that Benajarafe was a bit of a one-horse town, but there are more than enough little restaurants and beach bars to choose from when eating out. There is a small shop, which proved adequate for our needs. There is also a well-stocked bakery, chemist, bank, and a butchers. The bus-stop is a further two minutes away and will take you to Torre del Mar, one way, and Malaga the other. Go-karting in Almayate, 10 minutes on the bus, was great fun, and Torre del Mar has great inflatable slides on the beach for the kids. Bigger supermarkets also. Benajarafe is a place where the Spanish holiday, so English is not widely spoken. But we found everyone very helpful and friendly. Even if your Spanish is a bit rusty, making a basic effort is appreciated. The beach is superb. During the week it can be quite empty. I had to remind myself that I was in the Costa del Sol in the height of summer at times. Kieran, the owner, was very helpful throughout the whole process, and did us a big favour in arranging an extra room to be made up at short notice, then letting us stay on in the villa on our last day due to a late flight, rather than lugging our bags around the village all day. We also arrived early, but the nice couple who look after it, had already got the place ready for us, after Kieran notified them. Thoroughly recommend this great villa, in a smashing location. We're definitely booking for next year.

Fantastiskt läge och stor pool, men slitet hus.

Vår familj på 11 personer, i åldrarna 3 - 66 år och tre generationer, tillbringade 2 veckor i huset. Det var gott om plats för alla, läget och utsikten var fantastisk och poolens storlek var perfekt.Totalt sett finns dock mycket i huset som behöver uppdateras. Vi påtalade direkt att stekpannornas teflonlager var trasigt och att en duschslang var trasig - detta åtgärdades omedelbart. Däremot hände ingenting med en dubbelsäng, som var trasig och som vi också sa till om första dagen! Övriga sängar skulle också behöva skruvas ihop och kompletteras med bäddmadrasser för bättre komfort. Trästolarna på övre terassen släpper färg och håller på att falla isär. Trots allt hade vi en mycket bra semester och skulle gärna återkomma om huset får en uppfräschning.

Mooi huis

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit huis. Alles is er! Top zwembad! En genoten van de paella van Alejandro. Dat was een heel bijzondere, mooie avond! Minpunt was dat we drie dagen problemen hadden met de elektriciteit. Maar fijn dat we eerder in het huis mochten en later vertrekken. errder

Dejlig villa med rigtig god pool

Skøn familieferie, hvor der var alle de faciliteter, vi havde brug for. Rolige omgivelser, dog ind i mellem en del hundegøen rundt omkring. Vi benyttede ofte den dejlige pool og tillige den gode strand et par minutters gang fra huset. Pæne værelser, hvoraf 2 af værelserne består af køjesenge. Alt i alt kan huset anbefales.
