If it's peace and calm that you're looking for then this is the Apartment for you, The Apartment building, a former Mine Captain's house has been tastefully renovated into 9 Apartments. The Apartment is located in a quiet oasis of calm, with a peaceful garden, pathway/steps leading down to the beach and coastal path. St Ives is only a few minutes car ride away, or a 3 minute train ride away. Carbis Bay Train Station is within walking distance of the Apartment, with a train into St Ives every 30 minutes. There is also a regular bus service into St Ives from Carbis Bay, and a bus stop within easy walking distance of the Apartment.

The North West Cornish Coast was featured in the very popular TV series Poldark. St Ives is relatively unspoiled, which is why St Ives, encompassing Carbis Bay, is easily one of the UK's most popular holiday destinations. The cobble streets of St Ives and quaint old buildings are still here which are now mostly upmarket shops and restaurants and bars for dining out. There are many attractions to visit in St Ives such as the Tate Gallery, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden and St Michael's Mount in Marazion (a very short car ride away) to name but three.

Fantastic views from the property walks on carbis bay was brilliant
Brilliant location to all area's, high quality apartment, everything you could ask for.
Could understand the 5pm time time to enter the apartment through covid.
But now it's not so much of an issue! For now! thought it could be relaxed a little.
Travelling from the Midlands we got there for one ish tired! And had to wait four hours before entering.

Not practical for a self catering holiday, having shopped for our weeks stay there was no facility to store our food, fridge was very small with small freezer compartment, floor in lounge and bedroom was dirty, could not find a broom to sweep clean, bedroom was dusty

Thank you for taking the time to review our Apartment..
In 7 years, no guest has ever said that they couldn't store their shopping. You don't say exactly how much shopping you had with you. Tesco is not far away from the Apartment.
The fridge is integrated as shown in our online photos, and our advertising states that it has a freezer compartment - not a separate freezer.
Regarding the cleaning issue, if you had contacted us we could have arranged for our Cleaning Company to have returned, and rectified.
We are disappointed that our Apartment appears not to have met your needs, but we hope that you enjoyed the stunning sea views. Perhaps a larger property would suit you better, but it is likely to be more expensive.

Ansonsten alles gut.
Excellent property very comfortable with stunning views. On arrival there was a lovely welcome basket we couldn’t have asked for more, there was only one issue but don’t think it can be helped really it’s very tight on the car park but other than this minor issue it was fantastic and we would definitely return again.
A lovely flat with a gorgeous view. Close to bus stops for St Ives and coastal open top bus. Several great restaurants within easy walking distance. Walk down to the beach is fine but back up is very steep, but that's the price you pay for the views!
This is a great apartment in a good location overlooking the beach it has great views the window seat was my favourite place to sit and look out at the sea the apartment was clean and very well looked after the area is lovely and quiet and the host Chris and Janice were even helpful and quick to answer any questions we had would definitely stay again
We had a superb stay at this beautiful apartment. Everything we needed was at hand. Stunning views from the lounge window too. Lovely surprise welcome pack. A short downhill walk to the train station into St Ives. We chose to get the number 17 bus back. (It runs later and you don’t have the steep hill to climb on return!) We would definitely rent this apartment again.

Great location
Easy to book and a great location for this property. Nice welcome tray of essentials on arrival. However there were two things that really should be addressed - the cleanliness of the bathroom especially was definitely not 5 stars …. Mould on the grouting and silicone around the bath. The shower screen didn’t have a seal on the bottom which meant that water from the shower puddles on the floor. When we wiped the water up we discovered the floor hadn’t really been swept or cleaned properly …. There was also dust around the vent and surrounding area….the owner did respond to this and came and fitted a seal …. Corners of the bedroom were also dusty and hadn’t been cleaned to a good standard. Lastly the double bed is small ! It’s small length and width …. Other than that the apartment is well placed and has a wonderful view of carbis bay from the window seat.
I wouldn’t rate this as a five star appartment ….
From booking on line til check out everything was very straightforward.
Location of property was excellent with the added advantage of a parking space.
Apartment was very nice with all amenities, with a very nice view and easy access to beach. Apartment was very cold on arrival tho.
Apartment is in our opinion 4 star regarding cleanliness and standard of furniture.

Great location
Highly recommend the Cornish Arms for Sunday Lunch
Very nice property - in fact very perhaps the nicest holiday rental we have stayed in. Very well appointed (tv, coffee machine, dishwasher, and washing machine - and unlike some places it has a very good internet connection) and in a nice quiet spot with easy access to the beach and coastal path (it is about 30 minutes to walk into St Ives). Would definitely come back again and am already thinking about renting for Xmas 2022.
Lovely well kept property with everything you need. Ideally located to visit local areas. Communication with the owners was great and tge welcome pack on arrival was lovely. Already booked to return.
Well equipped comfortable apartment in a great location
Great location, excellent views, clean, tidy, comfortable, surrounded by a number of interesting walks through outstanding woodland, countryside and beaches. Relatively easy access to the Carbis Bay beach through the back garden and down the hill - a bit more challenging walking back though! Easy transaction with the owners via VRBO - thank you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience of visiting Carbis Bay and the surrounding area. The apartment was very well appointed, with beautiful views from the window seat and afforded excellent access to the beach at Carbis Bay but also nearby St Ives. St Ives was accessed by the coastal footpath which was adjacent the property.
The welcome pack was a lovely touch and made us smile after a long journey from Central Scotland.
Overall excellent accommodation. Thank-you Janice and Chris!
Beautiful clean & well situated apartment near to the beach in Carbis bay. Very well equipped lovely sea view from the window. Within walking distance of busy St.Ives. Would definitely recommend
Both I and my partner really enjoyed the apartment, especially the views over the bay.
We will most definitely be returning this December. Hopefully with a less restrictive shopping and dining experience, due to Covid 19.
Many thanks Steve and Sam
Fabulous apartment with everything you need! Great decor throughout and thought and detail put into it, down to cosy blankets and wonderful welcome pack! The views are spectacular and sitting in the bay window watching the world go by and the waves rolling in was very relaxing! Walking distance to beautiful Carbis Bay beach and to Carbis Bay Train station to hop into St Ives, can also walk it too which takes about 40mins. Highly recommend!
Lovely apartment which was very well equipped. Beautiful sea view. Carbis bay a good area to stay with train and bus links to St Ives and beyond. Good base for seeing this part of Cornwall.
