About this property
Beautiful Cotswold Farmhouse set in 50 acres
A wonderful 19th century Cotswold farmhouse restyled for 21st century living in a setting to take your breath away. WiFi, Freeview, home cinema, log fires and an ensuite jacuzzi bath will tempt you as much as the big outdoors where you can laze in hammocks, BBQ till dawn or just enjoy your own private meadows and woods. For an additional charge, you can also enjoy our beautiful outdoor hot-tub which comes with ambient lighting and bluetooth speakers for music. Whatever you are planning, the farmhouse will help make it special.
There is an outdoor pizza oven and BBQ which is free for you to use. And the icing on the cake? All power and heating is generated from our own on-site renewable resources!
The Farmhouse is 500m from the nearest road with intervening woodland which makes it blissfully remote so you can be as quiet or as noisy as you like. Children and pets can run and explore to their heart’s content – as can grown-ups too! Overspill accommodation can be made available and caravans or camping is also possible (additional charges would apply). RAF Brize Norton airbase is about 3 miles away so some air traffic should be expected – and enjoyed too!
There is around 50 acres of meadows and woodland for you to explore! Dry-stone walled garden with pergola, patio, dining tables and chairs for 12 people. BBQ. Fields for football, cricket, boules, or whatever you fancy. Tree shaded areas near house and more extensive woodland 200m away. Simply stunning views that stretch for 20 miles to the south. Space for more cars than you could possibly bring!
Utility Room:
Green central heating from our biomass & hot water boiler, Bosch washing machine, drying facilities, sink.
Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:
Towels & linen are included. Property is cleaned weekly at changeover. A cook/housekeeper is available as a separate contract.
Other:
Dining room – stunning travertine marble dining table with seating for 10 (12 possible) with Denby dinner service for 12, oak sideboard.
Conservatory – 7-seater corner sofa, coat & boot storage, beautiful views!
The outdoor hot tub is available for an additional charge
Large outdoor events (up to 75 people) can also be accommodated with an additional charge - please contact us for details.
I will be contactable through Airbnb or by phone and email during your stay to give you any assistance and answer any questions you may have.

Current UK GOV legislation/guidance is changing from Monday 14th Sept 2020. You cannot use this property with people outside your household (including bubble) in a group larger than 6 people.
In the kitchen there is an information poster from NHS telling you what to do in the event of one or more of your group falling ill with Covid-19 symptoms during your stay. Before arrival, if any of your group have signs of Covid-19 symptoms, they and their household must not go to the property.
We have introduced enhanced cleaning procedures with the current Covid-19 situation, following guidance from Airbnb, HomeAway and PASC. We provide hand soap dispensers at all sinks and a hand sanitiser in the kitchen together with a paper towel dispenser. We follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts.
Here are a few highlights:
We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
We wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
We refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room
We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
More detailed information on our procedures will be sent to you before arrival.
