Great place for our family trip. Took a little bit of work to find the place in the dark but once in it’s a lovely property. Note for taller people - remember to duck often, else you crack your head on every door like me! Lovely waking up by running water, plenty of space for parking off road.

Lovely cosy cottage. Seating in the lounge and the beds were very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, Good off road parking and in a good location. (Reflected by the reasonable price which is very good value) there was no shower gel or soap in the bathroom. Also there is no hair-dryer. And no coffee in the kitchen. A nice getaway in the countryside

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful two night stay here in Feb, the barn is very cute, we had everything we needed, the location is great and the hosts were really easy to contact. Ideal as a base for exploring the Peak District, rural with good amenities nearby and very, very peaceful!Both of us can’t wait to visit again!

We have visited twice now, as a base for a reunion with friends who live locally. Great location, warm and comfortable. well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Completely quiet at night, apart from the hooting of a tawny owl on this occasion. Perfect.

Fantastic place to stay

Really nice little cottage to stay in with young family.. Excellent location for visit to Alton Towers and the surrounding area. Cottage is also in a very quiet surroundings. Would stay here again.
