==================================

Frogapits is a traditional stone-built Cornish cottage that has a charm all of its own.

Village centre location
Walking distance to all amenities and harbour
Private riverside garden

Set in a beautiful garden with a river running through it, it's a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the perfect Cornish holiday. There are plenty of activities to be had during the day - cliff-top walks straight from the front door, beaches and surf spots within easy driving distance. In the evening, relax with a barbecue by the stream in the garden, or walk to one of Boscastle's three characterful pubs (the nearest of which is only 50 yards away). In the winter, the cottage comes into its own with a wood burning stove in the sitting room and a smokeless fuel stove in the kitchen - get both going at once and it couldn't be cosier. We really believe that you'd be hard pushed to find a house with so much going for it - as a family we've been staying here for decades and hope to do so for many more.

Frogapits Easter get away

We spent a lovely week in Frogapits, despite it raining every day! The cottage is fantastic, centrally located to local pubs and restaurants, and within easy travel to many local attractions. Beautiful garden and really enjoyed the wood log burner for cozy evenings in.

Fantastic cottage in a great location perfect for exploring North Cornwall

We saw this property last year on our walks down to Boscastle, we were so happy that we managed to book it this year. The cottage is in a perfect location 2 mins from the sea and oocam shops. It is a well equipped and cosy cottage with a large garden, with stream, to enjoy. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage. 10/10

Lovely comfortable stay

Toaster wasn’t working, of which we reported at the beginning of the holiday but was never replaced and the cooker had signs of rust spots on the front control panel. Apart from that it was a very well equipped cottage.

We had a fantastic stay on this lovely cottage. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed sunny evenings and bbqs. We managed to park two cars on the road next to the cottage all week. Enjoyed local beaches and we used the bus to Tintagel one day and walked the coastal path back, unfortunately we missed the dolphins that had made an appearance earlier in the day !

Perfect cottage, perfect location

Frogapits is a wonderful cosy cottage. Myself and my partner came here for his birthday weekend. We'd stayed at a village nearby before last year and had visited Boscastle before so was keen to find a cottage this time in Boscastle as its such a lovely village. The cottage was just what I expected, a complete home from home. I loved the two log burners, was so nice to have one on whilst having a glass of wine cooking, and also when relaxing in living room. The stream in the garden is fabulous. You really have to see it and hear it to appreciate it. It must be wonderful in the summer evenings for sure. There's lots of different walks on the Frogapits website which is really handy. We had some good spring weather for some nice walks. Although the cottage was so cosy it was perfect just relaxing and reading indoors. I loved all the books in the living room. Lovely touch with the pint of milk and biscuits left for our arrival too :-) The pubs in the village are literally a few minutes walk away, perfect! There's some lovely shops too in the village which I could have spent hours browsing in! Must must visit the Boscastle farm shop too, it's a real gem. just a little further down the road. Perfect cottage, perfect Boscastle :-)

A special place

We have stayed many times at Frogapitts and it is a very special place to stay. It is pretty hard to beat in Boscastle for location, and the gardens are just beautiful with even a stream! The cottage is warm and cosy, with the most comfortable bed! This has been our favourite holiday cottage for a number of years and have had many happy holidays here. Thank you Rob and Duncan for the use of Frogapitts. We loved it!

Stay at Frogapits

Lovely characterful house. Beautiful garden with stream. Great for dogs as all secure. (Provided you can avoid the stream!) only problem was parking. Just so busy. We didn’t move the car all week as we managed to get a space outside to unload. Very stressful when we arrived on Friday at lunchtime. Nowhere to park anywhere in village. So went to Crackington Haven for the afternoon and managed to park at 5.00 pm. Walking was fantastic with dogs straight from door. Brilliant One criticism it would be nice to have a bigger tv please. Overall we had a lovely week

Our stay at Frogapits

The property is a characterful, quaint and magical getaway in Boscastle. The location is just superb, just moments from the sea, pubs and shops. The cottage is very comfortable, well equipped for self-catering, and has a beautiful garden with a stream passing through. We enjoyed the big open fire in the lounge, and managed to cook some impressive meals for up to 10 people! The owners were very responsive to our questions, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Frogapits.

Frogapits is owned by brothers Rob and Duncan. The cottage has been in our family for several decades and we and our family and friends have spent many happy holidays staying at the cottage.

Why they chose this property

We've always loved coming to Frogapits for its unique charm and its wonderful location. Whether you're having a summer barbecue or picnic by the stream in the garden, or battening down the hatches, lighting the fires and keeping out the Cornish weather in the winter, the cottage is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing break. The rugged north Cornish cliffs are only a short walk away, there are beaches to drive to in the summer, some wonderful village pubs to spend the evening, great Cornish pasties to be had from the village baker's, and so many other things to enjoy about your stay here.
