We really enjoyed our stay. Spacious property with very comfortable beds and quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. Enjoyed walks around the property. Would definitely stay again.
Great property that is far more spacious than it appears in the photos. A really relaxing place to spend time In a beautiful part of the world. Lots to do within easy reach.
The pictures do not do this property justice at all!! It is such a lovely cottage and so spacious. My party of 6 often got a little lost in the space. The garden is beautiful and the surrounding nature is so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and it offered more than we expected.
This is a lovely property, better than we expected. The size of the lounge and kitchen helped as there were four adults so plenty of space to spread out. The grounds and garden were perfect for the dog. Location is good, close to Ludlow and Shrewsbury.
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. One of the family uses a wheelchair and walker but the property accommodated for this well. Great kitchen with all the facilities we needed. We will definitely be back.
A fabulous property where we hid from the worst of Storm Bert during a hiking weekend. Listing doesn't do justice to the property which exceeded all our expectations - beautiful, comfortable, very well equipped and will definitely stay again :)
Lovely House in a peaceful and very beautiful corner of England
Lovely house with plenty of big rooms, nooks and crannies, and set if in wonderful grrounds. A perfect spot from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Shropshire Hills
What a gem of a property in a fantastic peaceful location. We only stayed for a couple of nights, but really didn’t want to leave.
The grounds are absolutely amazing. The house itself is lovely with everything you need for your time away.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle.
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Dog friendly and about 20 minutes drive into Ludlow. Handy for the Shropshire hills and the lovely south Shropshire towns
As others have stated, the photos do not do this house and grounds justice. It is a beautiful place, one which we shall return to, in order to enjoy the tranquility and space that the place offers. The lounge, kitchen and gardens were particularly comfortable and stunning. It's not too far into Ludlow, which is a characterful town. We did report a rather smelly oil-fired boiler to the host, and he said he would rectify this in the future, though a quick visit might have been more appropriate.
Pictures do not do this properly justice! It was beautiful inside and out. Spotlessly clean and had everything needed from a stocked kitchen full of utensils and cookware. Lounge with log burner with ample supply of wood. Beautiful surroundings. check in was hassle free. Will book again.
A stunning house & location, set in tranquil area. Even more amazing than the photos. Tim the host was very helpful & responsive. A great location for family holiday. Thanks so much
The cottage is stunning. The space in the cottage is fantastic and the grounds and access to the countryside are amazing. We've had a fabulous short stay and would definitely return. Tim responded to any queries promptly and made us feel very welcome. Thanks Tim.
Well equipped and characterful house. The photos dont do justice to how lovely it is . Cut off from hustle and bustle , no roads anywhere nearby but in easy reach of Shrophire landmarks . Older children will love the hidey holes, anyone with young children will need tp know the lake in the garden is easily accessible so you will have to take extra care
Upon walking into the property our first impression was WOW. This carried through to the views from every window, beautiful even on rainy days. The location of the property was ideal. After visiting the very busy Ludlow Food Festival we couldn't wait to get back Mill Cottage to relax. A space for each person to do their own thing. We felt as if we were living in our own bubble. PS the dog loved it too

Born in Shropshire, the owners have a large family and an equally large collection of animals. They bought Mill Cottage four years ago and have enjoyed the challenge of restoring the cottage and its grounds.
