Newly refurbished apartment on harbour front. Part of a former inn this property has a unique charm all of its own. This apartment has been fully refurbished to a high standard. It’s cosy and extremely comfortable. Easy walking distance to beaches, high street shopping, pubs, restaurants and local amenities. Short drive to the John Muir country park and the other beaches in East Lothian. An ideal base to explore the area. Edinburgh is only a 20 minute train journey to the city centre. The property benefits from unlimited free internet access. We have just installed super fast fibre optic internet which is brilliant for all your online needs. Parking is on street adjacent to the apartment and in bays on the harbour side which is literally 30 metres from the front door. All parking next to the apartment and indeed throughout Dunbar is free. Throughout the pandemic we have refunded everyone in full who has had to cancel due to COVID restrictions and will continue to do so. Since the start of the pandemic we have introduced advanced cleaning procedures and have extended the gaps between departures and arrivals to accommodate this. Our short term holiday let is licensed under the new legislation. License number EL00051F.

Flat beautifully clean. Bed extremely comfortable. Kitchen a good size. Just on the harbour, so great for strolls. High Street very close.

Thank you for your excellent review. It’s great to highlight the reasons for other travellers to book and enjoy our holiday home, Dunbar and the surrounding area.
Perfect base for a short or longer-term escape to the Lothian coast. Location could not be better and the property is very clean and comfortable. The stairs might be a problem for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise just right for 2 -4 people.
We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again. Great location within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the seashore. Beautiful walks along the shore in each direction, and it was fun to be so close to the harbor. There are two levels of stairs - one to get up to the home and another level of stairs to the bedrooms - so not the place for those with mobility concerns.

The apartment was an absolute dream! I had a truly wonderful stay from start to finish. The space itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt so cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept almost better than at home. The location was nice with an easy access to beautiful coastal walks. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Our home away from home was perfect for us. Our host kept us informed throughout our stay. Its location was perfect with a beautiful harbor and several great restaurants within easy walking distance. If stairs are a problem gor guest they should be aware there are several. I highly recommend this location.

Nice property, well positioned overlooking the Harbour.Steep stairs, so not for those less mobile.Dunbar has plenty of places to eat & drink.Also a good base for local tourist spots.This year we took a day trip by train to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Well worth a visit.

Very comfortable accommodation in wonderful position
Right on the harbour side with main street, leisure centre and station ( main line to Edinburgh) all in walking distance. Delightful walk along seafront and plentiful bird life to observe. Comfortable, warm accommodation and responsive host who dealt with minor problem instantly. We would be happy to return.

We both enjoy time at the coast and bought this apartment in 2012. We have tried to create a comfortable home which is an ideal base to explore the surrounding countryside and coast. The wide variety of golf course mean golfers of any standard will find a course they enjoy
Why they chose this property
We love getting away to the coast. There is always something different to watch down at the harbour. Strolling up to the nearby pub and restaurant for dinner then back down for a walk along the beach is hard to beat.
