Braemar is a spacious and comfortable traditional Croyde Cottage offering everything you need for a relaxing break in this famous Surfing Village, conveniently located for the Beach and Village and set in an elevated position with large gardens and lovely views towards the sea. The large enclosed garden with its trees and shrubs is a safe area for children to play in. The property will sleep 4 + 2 people comfortably, a cot and high chair are available on request. Wi-Fi is available in the property should you wish to connect to the internet. New for 2024 - We have installed a brand new kitchen in 2024 which has every modern facility. The lounge has also recently been refurbished. There is off road parking at the front of the property on a tarmac drive for up to two cars. From the property you can either walk into the village, 5 minutes, or out to the beach, 10 minutes, with ease.

Great place to stay in Croyde

Property had everything we needed for our holiday. It was close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It wasn’t far to visit other places so was pretty central for us. Really enjoyed our stay will definitely be making a return visit.

Croyde cottage

Very clean, well equipped and spacious. Good location, village, pubs and restaurants only 5 mins walk in one direction with the beach and coast path 15 mins walk in theother direction. Sheltered and private garden too.

Could be so much better

So the positives, it has a beautiful front garden with chairs & a table to sit out, when the sun is shining is was lotions. The beds are comfy, Its a smart TV with Netflix for just chilling at the end of a Long day surfing plus the location is perfect for town & beach, unfortunately that’s where the positives stop. The house smelt badly of damp, when you open kitchen cupboards the smell is really strong but generally the house has a strong musky / damp smell which was very unpleasant. It abated a little when we turned the heating on but it was so strong on the first night it woke me up. There is peeling wall paper, plaster missing around light sockets, bare minimum supplied in the kitchen, the bedroom stool leg fell off when I picked it up, lucky I didn’t sit on it & the chest of drawers in the twin room drawers would just fallout. This property could be great but needs investment. So disappointed, I could just about get by with the minimalism of the place but not the smell, peeling wallpaper, missing plaster and collapsing furniture.

Perfect location!

10 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the pub - what more could you want! After years of staying in Parkdean Ruda we decided it had become over priced and my family had outgrown the caravans so this 2 bed bungalow was perfect for us and our teenage boys. Kitchen had everything you needed and more. Wifi was included. There was plenty of garden space which got the sun all day long and even though it was at the front it was high enough to feel out of the way as well as being close enough for people watching! Would definitely stay again.
