The apartment is an open-plan loft conversion split over two levels. Bedroom one is on the mezzanine level while leading from the living room/kitchen area is a second bedroom in its own alcove with high ceilings. There’s rooms for a further two people on the sofa-bed that converts to a double, but we’d advise that you get in touch with us first as the flat ideally sleeps four.

Expect to find all modern conveniences: air-conditioning, washing machine, and a dishwasher, USB wall charger. Set in the area of Piazza della Liberta, the flat is perfectly positioned to explore the Florence (both the Duomo of Florence and Fortezza da Basso are a 12 minute walk) and is still near enough to walk back to from the centre, if you want to have lunch at home (and a snooze!). There’s also a bus that runs from the centre and drops you 20 yards from the house.

The loft house is located in a quiet one-way residential street, with the apartment itself facing onto an internal courtyard. That means no traffic (or scooters) and only peace and tranquility during the day. Nearby there are a number of places to eat and these include a vegan/vegetarian diner, while for drinking you’d be hard pressed to beat Braumeister, serving lots of specialist beers on tap.

- Bedroom two (alcove): Queen-size bed, high ceilings, storage for clothes.
- Bedroom three (main living room): Sofa bed (double) - Note this apartment sleepp comfortably four, if you are coming in a group of 6, we recommend that you contact us to beforehand so we can discuss suitability.

Cute loft apartment

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We had a slight issue with the AC but the owners were able to get it fixed quickly. I would like to offer a few suggestions, such as a few fans in the loft area and side loft to circulate air during hot months. Also, having a toaster would be another recommendation.

What a wonderful, quirky, clean apartment!

We had a fabulous few days in the apartment! It was clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Gym and family were perfect at helping us find our way around and gave us loads of tips and advice! We would definitely come back!

A Perfect Place to Stay for visiting Florence

This is a brilliant open plan apartment suitable for couples and families. It is extremely well equipped, modern and very clean. The only thing we had to buy was food and bottled water for our stay. The location is excellent with a large supermarket 2 minutes away and Florence itself a 15/20 minute walk away. There is a nearby soft play area for young children and a park, (Giardino Dell'Orticolturea) that our children particuarly liked playing in after a busy day in town. The owner is English and was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us information about how to get around on trains and buses as we had no car and he even sent me a timetable of the trains from Pisa in advance. Florence is an amazing place to visit. There is so much to see and do. Our 8 and 10 year old especially enjoyed the Leonardo Da Vinci museum, the Boboli Gardens and a trip up to Fiesole on the number 7 bus. They also loved all the ice cream shops and were delighted to find a Lush and a Tiger Tiger store too! Going to the Uffizi and walking past the Duomo every day was an absolute treat. A trip to Italy is also less expensive than you would imagine. In our opinion, the pizza restaurants in Florence were much cheaper and nicer than British ones and if you book an easyjet or ryan air flight in advance it is much more cost effective than booking a package deal. Public transport is very reliable and easy to use and there is even a coach that takes you direct to Pisa airport from Florence train station. We were very pleased with our stay in this apartment and would most certainly recommend it to our friends and families without hesitation. We would love to return one day.

Really cool and stylish!

The owner was most accommodating; providing literature about the appartment and Florence before we arrived. The location of the apartment is about 15 - 20 minute direct and easy walk to the cathedral and museum for the statute of David. There is a car park 2 minutes away that you can buy a weekly ticket for. We visited two fabulous outside swimming pools too nearby. Over all the apartment was just perfect

We are family of four. Our two boys are active and keep us busy! We purchased the property in 2014 and have lovingly made this a wonderful space for taking a holiday. It's walking distance to the centre of Florence.

We are a bilingual family (London/Florence) and have lived in Florence for more than 20 years.

This property is in one of our favourite areas of Florence and is walking distance to the areas that make Florence such a culture capital. With 5 windows there is a lot of natural light, and when you visit you'll be as amazed as we were at the peace and tranquility of the apartment.
