The property was very clean, was also stocked with anything you could want for home away from home & it was also very quiet! We loved that it had a fenced in area for our 2 fur babies. We did see 2 baby bears & I'm sure the momma was close by but they didn't stick around long once our fur babies started barking. We would definitely recommend this property!!

Very pet friendly. Me and my daughter stayed here with our 2 dogs. We are big chickens and heard noises at night. We texted Tim (host) around 10pm and he was so gracious and nice and put us right at ease. His communication was excellent throughout or stay. Highly recommend this property.

The property was very well kept with plenty of space for my dogs to move around in the fenced in yard. The area was very quiet and still close enough to all the attractions that I visited. I would not hesitate to visit again in the future.

We loved our time at this beautiful and comfortable cabin. It was immaculate, clean inside and out. We had everything we needed and purposefully planned our days with time to enjoy the cottage in the mornings and evenings. The porch, deck and fenced yard was perfect for all of us, especially our pups. We enjoyed front porch sitting, rocking and swinging. We loved that we were close to all that we might want or need, but also removed from noise and crowds. Caretaker Tim was fantastic, personable and available should we need him. We look forward to a return visit in the near future!

This cabin was exactly as advertised! The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with plenty of essentials. The cabin was clean inside and out. Excellent communication before, during, and after our stay with the Tim, the host. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and the securely fenced area for our dogs to play.

We are so happy that we were able to stay at the Blackburn House! It was so clean, comfy and quiet! Perfect for our romantic getaway! Our host, Tim, was so gracious and friendly! We really appreciated his attentiveness. He was just a message away just as he promised on his calling card. We will definitely be back to visit this “home away from home”! Thank you!!!!

Absolutely loved our time here. The cabin was clean, cozy, had all the amenities we could possibly need plus extras. The fenced in yard was perfect for our blind pug and her crazy pug sibling. We even got to see a bear (safely) roaming the ridge. Will absolutely try and stay here again when we come down.
