Amazing views

So happy we choice to stay here. It was everything we needed and then some. Beach was 1 minute walk, town was 15 minutes away. Quiet neighborhood out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything. Airport is 30 mins away. Older condo but had everything you would need to cook, go to the beach or BBQ. The view is everything, and those sunsets!! Such an incredible holiday, thank you.

Kihei Surfside - Favorite Maui Vacation!

This is our second stay at the Kihei Surfside resort. Everything about the Surfside is welcoming and guarantees you to have a fabulous experience. People are friendly and the view is amazing! Our unit #205 this year had ceiling fans to keep it cool all times of the day. Air conditioning is not needed with the open air concept. You can hear the birds and waves wash up on the shore. Our King-sized bed was very comfy and having 2 bathrooms was a plus! All the amenities we needed were in the unit including beach chairs and cooler. No matter the time of day you can sit on the deck and enjoy the activity along the shore. The Surfside is a quiet resort but with plenty to do on the expansive lawn. One of the best beaches in Maui for snorkeling is right next door. We would recommend staying at the Surfside to families of young children or elderly alike. We will be back! Staying in Unit #205 was another great experience!

FANTASTIC!!

We booked this unit because 3 days before our trip our original rental fell through. I searched through VRBO for an hour and a half to find a rental comparable to the original ground floor ocean view we booked. This unit was a pretty close to a perfect fit, it was on the second floor but turned out to be really fantastic. The condo was spotless and the staff were so kind and helpful. They even checked in on us the next day to make sure we were comfortable. It had everything we needed and we had a great first time stay in Kihei. We visited during prime whale watching season so from our lanai and the park area we were able to chill and look for whales (take your binoculars). We saw SO many! If you want to get out to see the whales there are a few whale watching charters that go out of Kihei boat launch which is just a short walk. And on your way over you’ll find the tiny beach between the condo and the launch. Check that beach 4-5pm and you might find some honu resting (we did). If you are looking for the beach you can walk or drive to one of the many beaches nearby. The area around the condo is rocky but during low tide you can walk around to look for tide pool animals. Oh and don’t forget the SUNSETS, every day we got a beautiful sunset. The only issue we had was the screens to the lanai, they kept coming off the track, but we reported that to the team. MAHALO to the Ali’i Resorts team!

Gorgeous view.

You can’t beat the location or views. Unit was somewhat dated - new bedspread, couch and seat cushions would do wonders to give the place a little facelift. Also very warm with no AC. But overall good.

Great location on the Island

Nice appartment, fully equiped but on the listing it's written interior included dryer and washing machine but it's NOT TRUE! The washing machine and dryer are in the common area only. Also forget this condo if you want intimacy on the linai because the appartment is above the passage leading pool and court to the appartments.So a lot of people see you and watch you when they take the passage

Location, location, location.

We stayed in #205, Kihei Surfside. Love the location, on the second floor, directly over the pool. The sunset views were spectacular. I didn't love the decor -- nothing wrong with it, just a little dated and not my taste. But other than that, the place was clean and well stocked (especially beach toys and towels.) The kitchen had nearly everything we needed, and very sharp knives which is a rare treat for a condo. The toaster was broken, but they replaced it immediately with a brand new toaster. Overall, we had a lovely and relaxing stay in Hawaii. We would rent this unit again, and we always stay at the Kihei Surfside whenever we can. Great property, expansive lawn, nice pool, and next door to a beautiful beach.
