Lovely home in Dillon Beach!! Great kitchen/main room, nice bedrooms. Functional kitchen and relaxing hot tub. Easy 30 minute drive to Bodega Bay. Only negative -- WAY too many restrictions and communication from the management company. The binder was 40 pages. Everything was "DON'T DO THIS" or "XYZ NOT ALLOWED." Because everything had rules, it diluted which rules actually mattered and the interpretation is that they had been burned by messy/rowdy groups before, and therefore swung the pendulum back too far the other way. We had a running joke over the weekend and a betting pool on what the final fine would be (purely based on the fact that it seems impossible to stay there without incurring some sort of fine). It cut into how relaxed you can feel staying there.

The stay was great! Our family had an amazing time. Great views and comfortable facility. Entertainment rooms for the kids. One minor unavoidable issue was the house had a lot of noise at night from the wind causing some rattling in the fireplace upstairs and the sliding door upstairs. Not anyone’s fault at all but could bother light sleepers. Host sent out the check in and check out materials and the visitors guide which were all extremely helpful and well organized. Wonderful stay and would recommend and book again.

The house is in a beautiful location and the walk to the beach is not bad at all, but it’s definitely for those in good shape. The house was clean and well stocked and excellent for a large group. Our only complaint was that the pull out couches really weren’t good for sleeping and one is literally falling apart. We couldn’t find suitable bedding for the pullouts either. We ended up figuring out different sleeping arrangements. I wouldn’t include those two couches in the available beds at all. But aside from that it was really wonderful and we loved our stay! One additional thing to note is the driveway is very steep and a bit tricky to navigate - it does take two people to get in and out to guide your car, depending on which spot you get. Also the HOA doesn’t allow street parking at all - so you do have to figure out how to get your 4 cars in the driveway.

Most things were fine. The kitchen needs to be cleaned out of the old worn out pots and pans, it’s a jumble don’t know where things belong and honestly they don’t look safe to cook in. There are all kinds of utensils and spoons and little doodads that need to go.

Great Family Vacation

I stayed here with 11 other family members and this house was perfect for us. The community is still pretty private so it was a nice getaway for us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone asking for a nice relaxing getaway that was perfect for my big family.
