Great views of the pond! Cabin had everything we need but it is a cabin, so be prepared to fire the wood stove to stay warm, if you're there in the chilly season :) Leaves were changing color when we were there and the short drive to town was stunning! Camden is close by and offers many great food and shopping choices. The property was very quiet and relaxing....we had a great time! Thank you for sharing your property with us!
We loved the place, as another reviewer noted the shower is very small but more than adequate and plenty of hot water after a long day. Would definitely return again.
Very nice cottage in a cozy lakeside location. Wonderful view (even on rainy days). House is clean, well maintained and the owner, Lisa, is wonderful. She provided us with lots of helpful information, was very prompt to answer any of our requests and even offered to buy us food when we expressed our concern of not finding an open place to eat on the first night, due to late arrival time. All in all a great experience.
We loved our stay at loon cottage! We had 2-13 year olds, a 1 year old, and a small dog. It was great. The house was very well stocked, it even had a baby gate for the deck. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. We needed up playing a lot of cards together, swimming, paddling around the lake and going into town. We will definitely be back. The host was super friendly and had no problems with us getting here later than expected.
The Loon was everything we could have asked for as a home away from home. It was charming, comfortable, well equipped, and the deck and dock made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you, Lisa!

This cottage is on an amazingly beautiful place! The view of the pond from the deck isn't done justice by the photos in the listing. We watched loons, ducks and eagles as they went about their daily routines. It is extremely quiet in the area too.Because of a medical emergency, we were forced to leave early. Our host went above and beyond to help us respond and travel back to our home. We greatly appreciate her help and understanding! We highly recommend this property and plan to return later this year to continue our experience.
We loved it here. Can’t say enough good things about the Loon Cottage.
We spent six relaxing days in the cottage; on the pond; in downtown Camden and on the hills and we already want to go back.
Perfect Cozy Cabin. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Clean cabin, many kitchen appliances/utensils made it so easy to cook meals together and enjoy family time. Comfortable beds. Lots of games to play. Lisa, the Host is very sweet and accommodating, very communicative. I also love that this perfect hideaway is so close to Downtown Camden and many other great places to see and visit.
The Loon Cottage was so comfortable and clean! The views are amazing. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens. It was far enough away from Camden that we had privacy and quiet but close enough that we could go out to eat or shop easily! One of my favorite places we have ever stayed!
