Lake side cottage with covered porch looking out to granite islands with hills beyond. Spend a quiet day kayaking, swimming or hiking the State Park, then enjoy the night life of Camden and Rockport minuets away. Or relax on the deck listening to the loons and watching the moon rise over Hosmer Pond.

We loved our stay at loon cottage! We had 2-13 year olds, a 1 year old, and a small dog. It was great. The house was very well stocked, it even had a baby gate for the deck. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. We needed up playing a lot of cards together, swimming, paddling around the lake and going into town. We will definitely be back. The host was super friendly and had no problems with us getting here later than expected.

This cottage is on an amazingly beautiful place! The view of the pond from the deck isn't done justice by the photos in the listing. We watched loons, ducks and eagles as they went about their daily routines. It is extremely quiet in the area too.Because of a medical emergency, we were forced to leave early. Our host went above and beyond to help us respond and travel back to our home. We greatly appreciate her help and understanding! We highly recommend this property and plan to return later this year to continue our experience.

Perfect Cozy Cabin. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Clean cabin, many kitchen appliances/utensils made it so easy to cook meals together and enjoy family time. Comfortable beds. Lots of games to play. Lisa, the Host is very sweet and accommodating, very communicative. I also love that this perfect hideaway is so close to Downtown Camden and many other great places to see and visit.

A peaceful getaway

Lovely pond enhanced by the cry of the loons. Great swimming and kayaking. Breakfast on the porch was a definite plus.

We loved it here. Can’t say enough good things about the Loon Cottage. We spent six relaxing days in the cottage; on the pond; in downtown Camden and on the hills and we already want to go back.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy lakefront home. It was the perfect size for just the two of us—small, but comfortable and just what we needed. Everything was very clean and well-kept, and the owner was excellent with communication, making everything simple and stress-free. Our favorite part was spending time on the deck looking right out over the lake, enjoying the peaceful views and watching the three loons that hung around nearby. Such a special and relaxing spot.

Perfect Location

We had a great stay at Loon Cottage. Comfortable and cozy, and in a perfect location. Camden and Rockport are less than ten minutes away; both have excellent restaurants and shops. The lake is lovely and right off the deck. Communication with Lisa was easy and check in was a breeze.

Wonderful!

The Loon Cottage was so comfortable and clean! The views are amazing. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens. It was far enough away from Camden that we had privacy and quiet but close enough that we could go out to eat or shop easily! One of my favorite places we have ever stayed!

This VRBO was fantastic. The kitchen was better stocked than any other rental i have stayed. Everything was clean and tidy. The views are beautif. It is a quick drive to grocery, gas, walking trails, and the down town Camden area. Lisa gave us great recommendations for hikig trails, site seeing, and food! We really enjoyed our stay and woukd book again if we make our way back to Maine.

Perfect Spot for a Fall Getaway

The location of this cabin is ideal- you are just a few minutes drive from all the amenities Camden has to offer and you get your water view- which we found more serene than the ocean with the beautiful loons calling. This cabin has everything you need and then some! We hope to return!

A Lovely Cabin with a Gorgeous View

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. The location couldn’t be more beautiful, and when we weren’t canoeing on the pond, or sitting on the dock watching the loons, we were only a few minutes away from a hiking trail or a beach. We were sad to leave, but hope to return some time.
