About this property

2 Bed in Lynmouth (oc-harbvi)

This delightful coastal holiday property is situated in the lovely holiday resort of Lynmouth close to Exmoor. This first-floor holiday apartment is a fantastic base for a family holiday to the coast, where you can spend your days playing on the sands and your evenings enjoying a family film night or dining out in Lynmouth’s many pubs and restaurants.

Inside, the apartment is packed with coastal style, reflecting its fabulous seaside location. The accommodation is modern with charming, nautical-style touches and tasteful neutral tones to create a cosy and welcoming holiday hideaway for four guests. The open-plan living room and kitchen area is stylish with two sofas and a dining table and chairs, while the kitchen has everything you need for a family feast. There is a balcony with views across Lynmouth to the Bristol Channel. The style continues throughout the two beautifully furnished bedrooms, one double with an en-suite shower room with WC, and one twin. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.

Lynmouth is the sea level part of the wider conurbation of Lynton and Lynmouth. Lynton stands less than 0.25 miles from the top of the sheer cliff connected to Lynmouth by pathways, roads and an antique funicular railway which is a very popular visitor attraction. Lynmouth stands at the mouth of the tiny River Lyn which flows into the Bristol Channel from high up on Exmoor. Lynmouth is full of quaint lanes filled with pubs, restaurants and gift shops – it may be small, but it packs a lot of things to see into its small space. The main visitor centre for Exmoor National Park is on the waterfront and is worth a visit for maps and up-to-date information before you set off onto the moors for a day trip. A circular walk to nearby Riversmeet (4-mile circuit) is a real treat of a woodland walk. Lynton is home to the main shops and has a cute cinema (0.5 miles). Other local attractions include the Valley of Rocks (1.5 miles), Woody Bay Railway (3.5 miles) and Dunkery Hill (20 miles).

Coastal Break

Excellent apartment. Great location with amazing views. Very tastefully decorated, everything about Harbour Views is high quality. Very well equipped & the welcome pack of bread, milk, a box of tea & coffee as well as a cream tea was much appreciated. It is set in a great location for the coastal walks & local pubs & restaurants.

A perfect place to stay

The apartment is wonderfully situated in the centre of Lynmouth. It is beautifully furnished and immediately we felt relaxed. The balcony is perfect for sitting out on after a day of walking or with a coffee first thing in the morning. We look forward to visiting again.
