A pleasant Stay
All was well at the lodge but the small back bedroom was very damp with condensation on the inside of the widow, the bedding felt cold and damp despite turning on the radiator. Location was good.

Nice plac, good location but not as high spec as it looks
Good location, beach, shop pub etc all within easy walking reach. We stayed in winter, House was lovely and warm but can see its full potential would be met in the summer when the garden and balcony can be fully appreciated.
On first impressions the house is great but there are a few things which would make a big difference. Shower in the upstairs bathroom is a huge omission, the shower downstairs isn’t really big enough to be walk in, so bathroom tends to get soaked, dishwasher is tiny, it struggles to fit things in for 4, let alone the 8 people occupancy, and the tv in the Zen Den doesn’t have aerial or WiFi (no WiFi in the den) so only plays selected dvds (not all the ones provided work).

Ongar Lodge
We had a lovely time at Ongar Lodge and the weather was fantastic!
Loved the beach and everything was extremely convenient to get to.
Just wanted to make you aware that the downstairs shower isn’t satisfactory as it doesn’t have a door so the whole bathroom just floods every time you have a shower. It could be extremely dangerous should someone slip and the bathroom facilities were not adequate for the amount of bedrooms.
