Stiffkey Hideaway is a single-storey extension attached to the owner's bungalow. Tucked away down a quiet lane that leads to the Blakeney National Trust Reserve, stunning Stiffkey Marshes and North Norfolk coastal path, this really is a secret hideaway. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing location, with a touch of luxury, boasting lovely open views across farmland to the marshes beyond, this place is just for you!
The cottage style apartment has its own private entrance, and enclosed pretty courtyard garden. Spacious and comfortably furnished, with garden views from every room, the charming owners have created a very well thought out, well-equipped and special space for two - ideally suited to a couple. Two friends can easily be accommodated as there is a second bathroom and a sofa-bed in the living area. If two beds is your preference, please request on booking. This is a wonderful walking and bird watching area and, with the Coasthopper bus service regularly passing by at the end of the lane throughout the year, you can opt to leave your car behind for your entire stay and make it a truly relaxing holiday!
Stiffkey is a beautiful coastal village built on the banks of Stiffkey chalk stream and well-known for the narrow and winding road that runs through it. The handy and popular Stiffkey Stores sells newspapers, household essentials and tempting knick-knacks, and is becoming renowned for its delicious home made treats and Monmouth coffee. The Red Lion is an old fashioned, traditional village pub offering good food and a warm Norfolk welcome.

Perfection
This was a perfect holiday property in a beautiful location for the North Norfolk Coastal Path and the surrounding area, the bonus being the short walk from the property to the coastal path. The property was very tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen equipped with good quality utensils. Very impressed with the high level of care taken by the owners and would love to come back as we had to leave early due to family circumstances. We look forward to a return visit. Thank you to Derek and Isobel.

Wonderful Hideaway
We had a wonderful time at Stiffkey Hideaway. The location is fabulous (especially if like us, you are keen birdwatchers) and the quality of the accommodation is good - spotless and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom spacious. The kitchen diner had everything you needed and the micro dishwasher worked a treat for two. The lounge area is quite compact and the TV screen quite large for a small room but as we didn't have it on much it didn't detract from our stay. The owner made sure we were ok on arrival and was very friendly. Lovely flowers and a bottle of fizz greeted our arrival. Loved it so much we have already booked for next January! :)

Stiffkey
Beautiful location. Few minutes walk to the coastal path and the pub .Stiffkey stores always fun to look round and have breakfast outside. Local bus can take you up and down the coast making it easy to plan a walk for example from Wells-next-the-Sea back to Stiffkey

Stiffkey Hideaway - perfect accommodation for a relaxing break
A spacious home from home. Everywhere was clean and the bathrooms very modern with smashing showers. It was lovely to go back to after a day exploring. The garden area was also thoughtfully done. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Shame it was not bigger as I know my children and their families would have loved to stay there.

We loved it
My sister and I stayed here for a week in April. We were walking/birdwatching in the area. The accommodation was perfect for us and we had the bonus of having a brilliant week weatherwise. Owners were caring and helpful without being intrusive. The Hideaway is modern and clean with good facilities. Also situated in a good position - very close to the coast path and only 2 minutes walk from the bus stop for the Coast Hopper service. We loved it and would definitely return.

Convenient base for North Norfolk coast
Modern, quiet, convenient apartment. A good base for exploring the north Norfolk coast. There was a kind welcome on arrival. An excellent pub in Stiffkey village for eating out. A very short walk down to the shore. A pleasant garden area to take a coffee outside when the weather is good.
