Shell Island Beach Club 7B is a vacation rental condo on Sanibel Island. A wonderful spot to enjoy your stay in this great beach condo surrounded by a lush tropical landscape that offers a breathtaking beachfront view of the Gulf of Mexico. 7B has a screened lanai, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, sleeps 6, washer/dryer, a stereo system, covered parking, and wireless internet available. This condo is outfitted with a complete HVAC Ultraviolet light system that sterilizes moving air throughout the air conditioning ductwork. The UV light unit is installed in the return air duct and cycles on with the fan, and has been proven effective in improving airborne air quality, killing bacteria and airborne pathogens! Take advantage of the heated pool, tennis, bicycles, shuffleboard, hot tub, sauna, and gas grill all on-site. Sanibel Island is truly a tranquil experience and Shell Island Beach Club a terrific spot. This property does not offer an elevator.

Sister trip

Sanibel has come a long way after dealing with 2 hurricanes in a row but still needs a lot of work. The grounds at the condo still need some repair including the pool but the ocean was a good replacement. If your looking to hang out at the pool you can go to the rec center and pay a daily rate which is reasonable

Fantastic shelling and beautiful beach just steps away. The condo is well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Drive, bike or walk through Ding Darling nature preserve...lots to see. Make sure you eat at the Island Cow for dinner and The Lighthouse Cafe for breakfast. One week is not long enough!

The rental is very comfortable for four adults, and had comfortable beds and a rain forest shower for two in the master bedroom. The parking space requires a bit of trial and error (or you can use guest spaces about 50 feet away). The overall property is still recovering from several major storms, but the beach and the charm of the island make up for some minor inconveniences.

Reviewer Comments: Sanibel Island a special place and even though this property was in a development still in recovery, being able to watch the sunrise every morning and see the Gulf was truly a gift. The unit was well appointed and had the necessary paper goods and cleaning supplies in stock. Loved being able to run or walk along the sidewalks/recreation path that winds around the entire island. My only issue was the heating/cooling thermostat panel, which needed new batteries (they were supplied) every few days, but the HVAC was being updated after my stay.

The view is lovely, the pool was very clean, Our unit 7B was comfortable and clean. Loved having a chaise lounger on the porch.A few negatives, 2 of the porch chairs had rusted legs, the silk plants on the porch are falling apart, only a few washcloths, king size bed had a queen size top sheet, no cookie sheet, and the pot and pans are quite used. Minor complaints but easy to fix.I would definitely return.

Relaxing time in a nice facility

With the beach, pool, hot tub, and sauna only a few hundred feet away from the door to the condo with a full kitchen, there is no need to go anywhere else if you don't want to. Being right on Periwinkle Way, you can use the free bikes provided to get anywhere you like or take a car for a short drive to all the shopping and dining the island has to offer.

Old decor and dirty

This condo was dirty- the furniture was stained and overly used and old- the comforters for the beds looked super worn and old- the rugs were filthy- sad to say but this place decor was old and dingy looking- won’t be staying again

Wonderful property

My family with two young kids enjoyed are stay very much. We loved watching the sunrise right from the unit. View was great! Layout was good as master was furthest away from children’s room. Only negatives were the couches were not comfy, the washing machine door doesn’t close well and is super loud so wouldn’t be good for napping children. The lighthouse beach area is fun to explore but we found a more private beach by walking toward town and turning right on first street. There is a beach entrance there that is always empty and my kids found 10 starfish one day! Of course we didn’t keep them and returned to the ocean.
