Kitchen could’ve stepped up their game with nicer wine glasses / beer mugs, just a better way to enjoy a drink. You are in Italy who are we kidding your not cooking so the rest to me wasn’t important. Great location..key! The apartment is old but charming..would definitely stay there again!

Most incredible location and apartment. We are a family of 6 from Austin, TX - my wife and I had a king bed and room and bathroom to ourselves and our 4 kids split btwn a big sleeper sofa (for the 9 and 11 year old) and another king bed for the 16 & 18 yr olds (in the loft). They had their own bathroom. The apartment has 2 mini split ACs which cool down fast and the walls are so old and thick/solid that noise is not an issue. If we go back to Rome we will definitely stay here again. Oh, and the host met us and walked us through everything during check in and offered to help us find rides from the airport.

Perfect place to stay in the center of Rome

Family of 5 stayed for 3 nights prior to a cruise. Location cannot be beat. Everything you want to see is within 1-1.5 mile walk and the streets are safe and upbeat. Owners are responsive and can provide great recommendations for restaurants, sites, and can book rides to and from where you are going. Apartment is on the 4th floor and stairs are the most convenient way to get up and down so make sure you can walk. Room could use painting and more comfortable furniture. The dining room table chairs are uncomfortable and if you are using the pull out sofa, there is no other place to sit after a long day. Master bath is really cool and the place has character and will add to the overall experience of visiting Rome. Did I mention the convenience of the location? Excellent food, gelato, coffee, shopping, and more within blocks and at every turn in this neighborhood, you will find a jaw dropping church, fountain, Piazza, and historical site.

Family trip to Rome

Overall a good place to stay. Elevator is super small so be prepared to walk a lot of stairs. Even with the AC on the loft bed was quite hot. Very central location.

Perfect location for visiting Rome

We loved our time at this property. It was central to places we wanted to see and easy to get taxi rides. We enjoyed walking around the area and had a great meal nearby. Communication was quick. The rooms felt secure and there was even a private lift available.

Nice stay in a wonderful location for Rome.

The apartment’s location is outstanding. We were within easy walking distance of all major sites and access to the bike path along the river. Valerio was very helpful with check in and the staff always responsive with communication. The building was steeped in the character that its age provides. However, the apartment’s furnishings would be more comfortable with some updates. Overall our family of three enjoyed a very nice stay over five days.

Great Apartment in the BEST location!

My family of four stayed here for 3 nights. We were steps away from the Piazza Navona and a 5 minute walk to the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain just beyond. We walked to the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum and the Vatican. Great restaurants abound. The apartment is clean and bright and has AC and a washer and dryer. It was perfect. We'll be back!

Great location. Slightly dated apartment.

Overall pleased with apartment. Located within meters of Piazza Navona (unfortunately under construction) and Via dei Coronari. Also within easy walking distance of Pantheon, Castel San't Angelo and Piazza del Popolo. Vatican, Coloseum, Trastevere and Trevi a bit further but still manageable on foot. Apartment was relatively clean but dated. Pull out sofa was a bit dingy and dryer was not working which made laundry a bit more difficult. Communication with property managers was excellent prior to and during the trip. I would recommned a stay here.

Cute apartment near Piazza Navonna

A cute spot near a big tourist area of Rome. About a 15 minute walk to the Vatican, 20 minutes to the Roman forum,, 15 minutes to shopping. Very communicative property owners, and responded quickly to messages. My only two complaints: 1) (would have been nice if they were more transparent about the tourist tax, which has to be paid in cash at the time of check-in. This was not listed on the property description, and is a city charge. 2) we kept turning down the thermostat to try to stop it from getting so hot, and the thermostat did not seem to do anything. This was OK because it was cold outside, but the apartment was getting a bit hot at night.

The apartment is in a great location, and it is nice enough inside. However, the noise level outside is very high at night. If you are sleeping in the room closest to the front door, it isn't too bad, but any of the other parts of the apartment are very loud at night. We heard everything from people singing downstairs to car alarms ringing over and over again. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep well at night.

Convenient Location

Overall a nice place to stay and convenient with two bathrooms. Ideal location to use as a base and I lost count as to how many quality restaurants are a short walk away. Avoid the restaurants in the Piaza except for cocktails. Sofa is a bit worn and could use a replacement. Didn't realize the house had no wine opener until we were sitting down to share a bottle of wine, I bought one and left it there, and the little coffee pot was molded over. Owner was quick to react and replace the coffee pot but didn't use it.

VERY DISSATISFIED

The elevator did not work the entire week we were here. The property was on what amounts to the fourth floor because Italians don’t count the first floor. The ceilings were very high so each floor had 2 Long fights of stairs. I had to climb eight flights up and down every day! When I complain to the management to find me another place they simply said they didn’t have anything and made no attempt to help me. In fact, when we arrived we were greeted by a delightful man who took me up to the roof of the neighboring building and then we walked down across the roof and down again another staircase into the building. Besides the huge problem with the elevator, the place was EXTREMELY SHABBY! There wasn’t even an espresso maker or anything else to make coffee with in the kitchen. We had to go to McDonald’s every morning for a .coffee

Great location, spacious apartment

The apartment location was great - just outside Piazza Navona, which also provided quick access to a continuous taxi line if you want to leave the area. As rooms in European cities and especially older buildings are usually small, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the apartment. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we learned from the check-in representative who met us that the elevator was broken. Luckily we were all able-bodied and able to walk up the 100 stairs to the 5th floor apartment (note: apartment is on 4th floor, but in Europe, ground floor is considered "0" so it is physically on the 5th floor of the building), although with luggage and 100 temps, it was not pleasant. This also made it inconvenient to "run down" for a coffee or gelato, which would have been nice given the proximity to so many great restaurants and shops. I contacted the apartment manager who explained that they had called for a repair but the technician was waiting on a part. The repair was not completed by the time we left, and although not as bad as going up, carrying luggage down was not pleasant either. I know it's not the fault of the apartment management that the elevator was broken, but if this is a deal-breaker (as it would have been had if we had elderly or otherwise compromised individuals in our group) I would suggest contacting the management before checking in to ensure the elevator is working. The apartment was very clean, and the air conditioning worked well. One other thing to note, regarding accessibility, is that the second bedroom which is located in a loft area has a rather narrow spiral staircase that again should be taken into consideration depending on mobility of guests. Overall, the apartment is a great value and our experience while in it was good.

There were charming aspects to the apartment. We liked the living room area, the door to the apartment was enchanting. However there was a collection of soot? or dirt? that kept building up in the second floor bathroom. Having the bathrooms for each bedroom was unexpected and not ideal during the night.The number of keys was 'awkward', especially when the hall light would go out if it took too long to open the door.We did really like the location...found a coffee shop we liked for the morning and a restaurant nearby at which we ate dinner every night and at least one lunch.

Property not representative of the online photos. Property was very dark and had a very musty smell to the place. Cleanliness was absolutely below than expected with a dirty cloth left on the bath tub from previous cleaning. Extremely unhygienic.One mini soap was left for hand washing and 2 ketchup sized shampoos for our 6 day stay. As well for the week. 3 people were left with one bath towel each/ One face cloth and one hand towel / each for the entire week. We came all the way from Canada and expected a more for the price. Nothing in the ad talked about the 104 stairs you need to take up to the room …. Wow. Yes there was an elevator that fit one person and a small suitcase. Anything more and the elevator would not work. Overall. Very very disappointed with this property…for the price you could find something better and clean…..

Host was very helpful setting up transportation from and to the airport. Location is great, steps away from Piazza Navona and walking distance to most major tourist locations. Apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. 2nd bedroom is in the loft, tight getting up spiral staircase but workable. Fan up there was nice distributing the AC on hot Rome nights. 4th level of the building, used the elevator a lot. It’s a typical tiny elevator, can be tricky to squeeze everyone in and clear the door sensors, but never had to wait to use it.
