Holiday or Golf Apartment, Doña Julia Casares Playa Estepona area

Two bedroom and 2 bathrooms corner apartment close to beach and directly overlooking Doña Julia golfing development. Fully equipped modern kitchen with open plan living and dining area and large south facing terrace that overlooks a communal swimming pool area, with spectacular sea and mountain views. The light and airy apartment is fully furnished with broadband Wi-Fi and national and international TV channels and that all important air conditioning throughout. Underground private parking is included for one car and the building has a lift to all three floors.

Doña Julia is located on the Western COSTA DEL SOL area of southern Spain conveniently close to the major airports of Malaga (85 km) and Gibraltar (35 km) adjacent to the traditional Spanish coastal town of Sabinillas. The area is probably best visited by car which can be conveniently hired at either Malaga or Gibraltar airports or use local buses to Estepona and then taxi.

The beautiful town and superb marina of Estepona is only 10 km away and fabulous Marbella and Puerto Banus are easily reached by car in under 30 mins. Doña Julia is ideally located for enjoying a traditional beach or golf holiday or simply relaxing while enjoying a fantastic evening in the nearby busy Puerto de la Duquesa marina, which is only 3 km or less than 5 mins drive away, or the nightlife of Estepona. Daily excursions available from Estepona include dolphin spotting and romantic sunset cruises. Alternatively venture into the one of the mountain Andalusian villages of Casares or Manilva or enjoy a full day's drive to Sevilla, Granada or Cadiz or even a day's excursion to Morocco.

In addition to the local Doña Julia Golf which is walking distance away, world class courses are found within 15-20 mins drive at Finca Cortesin, host to the Volvo World Match Play Championship, the Valderrama Golf Club, host to the Ryder Cup, or Sotogrande, a definite golfers paradise.

Fabulous local sandy beaches are found only 5 mins drive or 15 mins walk away at Sabinillas, they are well maintained and clean with a promenade along which are situated numerous local restaurants and bars. The town of Sabinillas contains all essential amenities including major supermarkets and banks, and as well as Estepona hosts a weekly traditional market on Sundays.

Nice apartment, great host. Has all you need and the listing is accurate.About half an hour walk to the coast and a bit uphill on the way back. Pool is good. Underground parking as well. A quiet location but easy access to shops and bars but you do need a car.

Solheim Cup Vamos Girls!

Nicely maintained well-equipped apartment with beautiful views over the Med and local mountains- stunning sunrises! We were there to view the Solheim Cup so the location was perfect but generally the location is great for golfers. Bright and airy with a great sized balcony and at the time we were there it was very peaceful

Fantastic Apartment with great views

The property has everything to cater for up to 4 people for a fantastic stay. All facilities are available for cooking and washing except a bbq. The property is well stocked with cups, plates, bowls and pans. The views from the balcony are wonderful from the point of waking up in the main bedroom, to sitting on the terrace to have a meal and drink watching the sunset. The property is spacious and modern with full access to English tv channels and a dvd player. The hosts are brilliant and great communicators. We will definitely be going back.

Excellent and quiet apartment

I have stayed for 3 weeks with my family, and from the first message the owner has responded me quick to all my questions. We asked for a baby crib because we were traveling with a 1 year old baby and they provided it us without any excuse. The apartment is in a quiet residential area, so no noise around to disturb you. It has been clean, also the stuff. Amazing views over golf course and sea, it is a privilege wake up every day with this views.

David and his family were excellent guests who clearly enjoyed their stay at our Doña Julia apartment on the Costa del Sol. The apartment is ideal for rest and relaxation but is also located close to major regional attractions to use as a base for travel. It is very light and stays cool during the very hot summer days although the pool is 2 mins away if needed! Parking and security are not an issue in this quiet residential area 15 mins from busy local beaches etc.

Great stay of 2 weeks in this amazing apartment. Easy check-in as pre arranged,met at property by Jessica who showed us around,good communication from Bill and Patty. Apartment had everything needed to make our stay comfortable,everything that you could need was provided. Terrace was fantastic,with seating and sunbeds,only small comment we could make was the table for eating on the terrace was very small,even for just the two of us. The sun on the terrace shone from morning till evening time We didnt have a car,so the walk down to the coast with bars and restaurants takes approx 30 minutes. Golf club short walking distance away,serving food and drinks from breakfast to late afternoon,but does not open in the evening. A very comfortable stay.

This is one of the loveliest apartments we have holidayed in. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The sea view from the terrace was fantastic and we spent a lot of time out there just enjoying it. The pool area was very quiet and kept very tidy. 14 sunbeds are provided for users but often we were the only people there. We might just have been lucky as the school holidays were finished but still a good size pool area, even if it was a bit busier. There are also 2 sturdy and comfortable sunbeds provided on the terrace if not wanting to use the pool area to sunbathe. Communication with Bill was outstanding from start to finish. We were given lots of fantastic and useful information about the area before we left home and check in with Jessica went extremely smoothly thanks to his instructions. Everyone we met there was really friendly, from the chap who cleaned and tidied the pool and garden area to all the security people who manned the barrier - every time we drove in or out we got a friendly wave. Although you can walk to the beach, it’s quite hilly there. So ok for walking down but would be a workout walking back but we had a car anyway. Thank you Bill, we loved staying in your beautiful apartment and had the best time. We were so sad to leave but we will be back again.

Unser Urlaub war insgesamt sehr gut.Das Objekt ist gut und die Umgebung ist top.Auch Jessica ist bei allem behilflich was so anliegt.Das einzige, was an der Wohnung negativ ist, das auf der Terrasse keine große Markise vorhanden ist.Man kann die Terasse bis ca. 16.00 Uhr nicht nutzen vor Hitze.Der Sonnenschirm ist nicht nutzbar, da er durch den Wind immer wieder umfällt.Aber insgesamt ist die Ferienwohnung zu empfehlen.

Estupendo apartamento y zona muy tranquila para la familiaº

El apartamento es una maravilla, con una limpieza y orden excepcionales. La zona es super tranquila y a un paso en coche de la playa y la zona de San Luis de Sabinillas. Se puede aparcar sin mucha dificultad para ir a la playa, y la playa es tranquila y familiar, donde hemos disfrutado con nuestros hijos. Para comer y cenar, hay muy buenos sitios en la zona de la playa, donde se puede comer pescadito y unos espetos muy ricos. Destacar lo atentos que estuvieron Bill y Patricia, así como Jessica, para cualquier necesidad / problema que nos surgió y dándonos recomendaciones para la zona - a nivel de playas, comidas, etc. Unas muy buenas vacaciones en un sitio que nos ha gustado mucho Para repetir.........

Precioso lugar

El apartamento está muy bien equipado, camas muy cómodas, vecindario tranquilo, buena ubicación junto a la autovía, hay facilidad para aparcar junto a la playa y tener plaza de garaje ha sido muy bueno. Bill ha sido muy amable y atento preocupándose de que se solucionase la avería de la piscina, si la hubiésemos podido disfrutar más días hubiera sido todo perfecto. En resumen, hemos pasado unas buenas vacaciones en vuestro alojamiento y lo recomendaría sin duda. Gracias que solucionasen

Die Wohnung war super ausgestattet, und schön ruhig gelegen. Pool war optimal und der Weg zum schönen Strand mit fünf minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wie waren sehr zufrieden, und empfehlen die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter.

Muy buen trato, llegamos antes y nos dieron la llaves enseguida. El apartamento tiene de todo y las camas muy cómodas. Una gran terraza y amplia piscina.La playa muy grande y con aparcamiento, ibas a última hora de la mañana y había sitio en primera línea y era una playa de arena, que por Málaga no siempre es así.

L appartement a une vue fantastique. Il est bien situé et proche de toutes les commodités. La piscine est fantastique et jamais bondée. L appartement est spacieux. Bill et Patty sont disponibles malgré la distance. Il faudrait juste une table extérieure un peu plus grande et avoir un deuxième ventilateur pour se passer de la climatisation (un dans chaque chambre). Nous reviendrons certainement dans cet appartement.

Belle terrasse avec vue imprenable sur la Méditerranée

L’appartement est très bien situé à quelques minutes de la plage et des épiceries. Il est bien centré dans la Costa del sol également, ce qui nous a permis de visiter plusieurs belles villes autour. La communication était facile avec Bill. L’appartement est très agréable et propre par contre, les sofas et coussins du salon pourraient être rafraîchis. C’est vraiment le seul petit point à améliorer. Nous y avons séjourné 34 jours.

Séjour magnifique

Nous avons passée 3 semaines dans ce trés bel appartement. Nous avons été trés bien acceuilli. Les propriétaires sont trés disponibles, trés sympathiques ainsi que la correspondante sur place qui est réactif au moindre souci. L'appartement est fonctionnel, il ne manque rien. Il est decoré avec beaucoup de goût. La vue de la terrasse est juste MAGNIFIQUE. La residence posséde une belle piscine qui est trés bien entretenue. La région est à visitée : de très belles villes et villages (Sabinilas, Casarés, Estepona...) Bref, nous repartons avec de trés beaux souvenirs et si nous devons revenir ce sera avec grand plaisir dans cet appartement.

Magnifique

Excellent séjour dans l'appartement de Bill, avec une vue exceptionnelle. Appartement très bien équipé, décoré avec soin. La plage est à quelques minutes en voiture et 15 min à pied. Présence de piscine avec transat est un plus. Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire.
