This charming converted school is situated in the pretty Dartmoor village of Lustleigh and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

The Old School House in the heart of Lustleigh is a semi-detached Victorian cottage, once the infants’ part of a school dating from 1876. The cottage sleeps four people and has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower-room. On the ground floor is a smart kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with wood burner effect electric fire and a piano. Outside, the garden on two levels surrounds the house and has two patio areas with tables/chairs a barbecue a fire pit, and a terraced lawn. There is also parking for one car. The Old School House is a wonderful home in a superb rural location.

Amenities: Central heating,wood burner style electric stove. Microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with DVD, WiFi, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Off road parking for one car, or parking is usually available on a quiet road nearby. Two well-behaved dog welcome, Sorry no smoking. Pub less than 1 mile from property. Note: Towels are not provided at this property.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Lustleigh is a picture postcard village set on the deep wooded slopes of eastern Dartmoor and within Dartmoor National Park. With a pretty church, village shop and excellent pub along with lots of thatch cottages you can see why Lustleigh made it to the Telegraph's top villages.

The best cottage we’ve stayed in so far, from the view of the village, the lovely garden, the cleanliness, furnishings, are immaculate and everything you need in the kitchen. Our hosts, Bill and Heather we so helpful. Have already booked for next year.
