We had a lovely and relaxing stay and Paul was a wonderful host. The cabin setting is serene and situated on a clean and beautiful lake with a private beach. The beach has very easy access to the lake which made it safe for our elderly dog. We mostly enjoyed the stunning sunsets on the porch. The property is beautiful inside and out! Highly recommend.

It was a fantastic way to spend my 45th birthday weekend. The cabin was perfect and very clean. Our dogs and us loved the beach and clean water. Fishing was good also. Overall a great place to stay. We will be back.

This cabin was very cute and the lake is impressively clean. Nice beach area and great dock to sit and enjoy watching the eagles. The cabin was clean with exception of the refrigerator and oven but nothing horrible. The cupboards were equipped with anything you might need. Our only issue was the side door had no blind on it. It faces the neighbors home and at night there is clear vision into the cabin. Other issue was addressed by the owner with good communication.

Perfect size, beautiful picturesque spot on icy lake . Wonderfully equipped kitchen, immaculately clean. Loved our time there and can’t think of a better place to prepare for the race or enjoy after!

Great litte getaway

We had another great stay. Love coming here for a little ice fishing with the kids and to just getaway. The house is always clean and the owners are so nice and quick to respond. Thank you again for a great weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at Ripley retreat. My boys (7 and 4) were in the sand from sun up to sun down. The additional pontoon rental was great.

The place was beautiful. We had a great time. The views and private beach was amazing. Our dogs loved the beach and playing in the water. The owners were so nice and easy to communicate with. They have literally thought of everything. Unfortunately we had some pretty cold weather but even so we made the best of it. We would definitely love to come back next summer.

Great Getaway!

Really enjoyed my stay. Perfect location for lots of hiking opportunities. The lake was beautiful! My dog loved swimming! Very easy access with the beach and clear water. Cabin was clean and had everything you would need. Two thumbs up for sure!

We had a wonderful weekend at Ripley Retreat! The cabin is adorable - updated, clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake is beautiful especially at sunset with the fall foliage. Our dogs had the best time playing in the crystal clear water and on the sandy beach. Paul was great to rent from - friendly and quick communication. We hope to be back soon! Thank you!
