Stunning newly built stone cottage in the sought after village of South Milton, a pretty village with lots of thatched cottages set in the South Hams, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, only a mile from a beautiful National Trust sandy beach and stunning cliff top walks.
Approached over a private gravel lane the cottage is the first property on the left with private parking right alongside the cottage which also provides access to a small covered useful storage area for muddy boots and wet beach stuff and the rear of the cottage via a wrought iron gate.
An oak front door leads to a carpeted hallway with built in cupboard. From the hallway you enter a vaulted light and airy kitchen diner with Karndean flooring, fully fitted with large oak framed window providing stunning views across the valley. An extending dining table and chairs with matching oak sideboard provide lots of opportunity for lovely dining. A door leads to the fully tiled utility area with washer dryer, integrated freezer and microwave. From here a back door takes you to a secluded patio area with a table and chairs to catch the morning sun and those lovely countryside views. Moving back through the kitchen the Karndean flooring continues into an airy open plan vaulted lounge with a large corner sofa bed and matching armchair, wall mounted 50" smart TV and a Stovac log burner for those cosy evenings. A complementary basket of logs is supplied. From the lounge bi-fold doors open up onto a pretty sunny patio area and lawned garden creating a lovely space for enjoying the sunshine and the stunning evening sunsets. A built in gas barbecue and further garden furniture provide lots of opportunities for outdoor dining.

Situated in South Milton, the cottage is surrounded by lots of lovely thatched properties, a Grade I listed church and village hall where during the summer months many village events take place. South Milton is situated in stunning open countryside, many picturesque villages and beautiful beaches including Bantham beach, a popular surfing beach, Hope Cove a tranquil little fishing village with large family friendly pub and cafes. The village is situated between the towns of Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Kingsbridge is a busy market town with two supermarkets situated at the head of the Kingsbridge estuary. Salcombe is a haven for boat lovers and has many lovely shops and restaurants. If you fancy venturing a little further you can visit the historic town of Totnes with castle, lots of individual unusual shops and steam railway or Dartmouth with its stunning harbour and lively boat life providing many bookable boat trips along the coast and the River Dart. Dartmoor National Park just 40 minutes from South Milton provides miles of beautiful Devon moorland with many different outdoor activities to enjoy including lots of lovely open air walking.
