Great host and great place to stay. 5 min drive to downtown. Great location. Only thing to mention would be the homeless lurking around the property, but they eventually scattered. Otherwise wonderful place to stay in Asheville location wise and overall the unit itself!

What we liked: The inside of the home was lovely. The kitchen had all the essentials, the bedroom and living room were spacious, and all the amenities were in good shape.What didn't work: There were a lot of homeless people right outside, so with my mom and dog along I didn't feel safe walking around. The upstairs neighbors were also very loud, stomping and walking around until about 2 a.m., and I couldn't sleep either of the two nights I stayed.Overall, It's a great space inside, but the location and the noise from upstairs made it hard to relax. I'd recommend it only to light sleepers who don't plan to walk around the neighborhood.

The two units we rented were perfect. The location near the downtown was close to our other family members. We were surprised as to the homeless sleeping on the sidewalks in front of our units. There is a facility assisting the needy, which we were grateful for. I have no issues because we were not imposed upon by anyone. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Super cute and convenient! Very welcoming, so nice to not have to pack coffee and creamer for a short stay. Very clean and well stocked. Parking is tight, convenient but tight, glad we did not bring my husbands pick up truck but other that that we would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Overall, we had a comfortable stay. Check in and check out was smooth with instructions provided by the host and documents located at the unit. All pictures seemed up-to-date and the place was clean and as described in pictures. The air conditioning worked flawlessly during a very hot week. The only two very minor things I would advise to the host is that the second bedroom is very small. The couple we traveled with brought their dog and we had ours and there was no room for the dog to lay down in the guest bedroom. The other thing and this has nothing to do with the apartment or the host was that there were about five homeless people sleeping outside the residence during our stay. They didn’t bother us, but it was a concern when bringing out the dogs late at night for their rounds. Otherwise, the place was great pretty close to downtown clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay, but I will say that the property is across the street from a food bank and park which unfortunately attracts individuals under the influence of drugs.

The title says it all, this stay was wonderful all the way around. Very clean, quiet and close to downtown Asheville. The apartment was well appointed with anything you could possibly need for your getaway. We will definitely stay in Downton Annie again when visiting Asheville.
