Great spot. Super convenient location and very comfortable for our family stay, we have two littles. Parking spots are small, and homeless are all over like the listing stated but no issues with them. we loved the rental and would stay again.

The unit was nicely updated and well-maintained. If anything, it looked even more attractive in person than the photos. Communications from our host were thorough, as the detailed listing would suggest. The unit was very well equipped. The host does an excellent job. Other travelers might want to consider that the parking spaces provided are small for a full-size vehicle, and service seekers lined up at the nearby agency sometimes become loud early in the morning.

The Downton Annie properties and Poprentals continue to knock it out of the park. We've stayed a couple times in the last few years, and this property is clean, bright, and a great location to launch any adventure. Shopping and dining downtown, South Slope brewery hopping, even floating on the French Broad are all right around the corner. The hosts are always accessible and very responsive. And to top it off, our dog loves the digs and settles right in.

The place was great for the two of us, well laid out and spacious, and convenient to downtown. Plenty of towels, a few hangers, good washer/dryer, and icemaker in freezer. I also appreciated the tea kettle since we made tea and Aeropress coffee. There are a few things I’d note for others, however. The apartment is a pretty typical corporate-style short-term rental. If you’ve stayed in places with basic amenities but no real charm you know what I mean. It’s across the street (diagonally) from a homeless aid center and there were always people milling about out front. We weren’t bothered and never had an issue, but different people have different levels of comfort.The location is technically downtown and I don’t mind a walk, so it wasn’t exactly the walk to the nicer downtown part of Asheville that bothered me. But the most direct way was along a very busy multi-lane road, so the walk wasn’t very pleasant.

Was a lovely condo, very clean, easily found and centralized so an easy walk to destinations around town. Directly across from the homeless shelter, but no one bothered us or our vehicle. Many very nice, high end touches in the condo. Well equipped. Lovely stay.

Property was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The walk to downtown is doable, but a little on the longer side. If there is a drawback to this property, it is the number of homeless folks in the neighborhood. Never felt unsafe, but the noise could be a bit much.

Well appointed unit as described. Check in was easy. The downside is that it's situated in between multiple homeless shelters/resources. Lots of folks sleeping nearby on the sidewalk and talking through the night.

Wish there could be a slight disclaimer somewhere that just mentions the unit is located across to the street from a homes less shelter and you’re walking over people on the sidewalks. They were fine and harmless and not loud- but just good to know- especially with customers with kids

We have to agree! The location in which the property is situated does make it very convenient by car or by foot. The ease of getting on and off the interstate or walking downtown are nice plus on-site free parking is an added bonus.
