Stuck in the Sand is one of the unique places on the Alabama coast where you can enjoy being steps from the water while relaxing on true Southern hospitality on your screened porch.  Located along the secluded shores of Fort Morgan's pristine beaches, Stuck in the Sand offers privacy and relaxation for up to 8 guests. A favorite home among our guests, you'll be happy to dig your toes in and get Stuck in the Sand!

About Stuck in the Sand

This laid-back beachfront home offers the retro feel Fort Morgan vacations are known for. Imagine fishing, sunbathing, and making incredible vacation memories right out the back door! Stuck in the sand offers a unique bonus of a screened porch, perfect for rocking in the rocking chairs on a clear evening! The deck also offers an uncovered area for sunbathing and a gate to help keep little ones safely inside. 

Inside, guests can enjoy the same unobstructed gulf views from the open living and dining areas. Plenty of comfortable seating makes this the perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. The kitchen is equipped for preparing the catch of the day with cookware, dishes, and small appliances provided. 

Up to 8 guests are comfortably accommodated at Stuck in the Sand. The Gulf-facing master bedroom features a queen-sized bed, TV, and access to the deck via the sliding glass doors. The master bedroom also features an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 2 also features gulf views, a queen bed, a TV, and access to the deck. Bedroom 3 sleeps 4 guests in 2 queen-sized beds and has its own TV and an en-suite bathroom. 

With an absolutely perfect location and plenty of space inside, come experience beachfront bliss at Stuck in the Sand! 

Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy.

Great House, Amazing Location!

This was the vacation that almost didn’t happen due to COVID, but we decided to reschedule instead of cancelling, and it was worth the wait! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The secluded area and proximity to the beach was simply amazing. Would love to see some updates (ESPECIALLY the kitchen stove), but no real complaints! Looking forward to staying again.

Spring Break Vacation

The property was as pictured and as described. Appreciated the communication checking in on us as a decent storm rolled through. The covered porch provided an awesome opportunity to watch that ocean storm. We all had a great time and would definitely stay again. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of town but yet within a short drive to go into town if we wanted to. Would highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Stuck in the Sand. The house was perfect for us and we loved the area. The only issue we had was the tub in the hall bathroom was really slippery and one if our party almost fell. Directly on the Gulf with lots of Privacy

We had a great SB! The house was beautifully kept and decorated. We enjoyed the beach straight out our door with zero walking. Open your door and you're on the beach!! Enjoyed even a rain storm out on the screened porch! We'll definitely return and from pictures we posted others are wanting more info because of this close and private home. Stuck In The Sand was more than great!! 5 stars!

Great Location for Relaxing

This property was very comfortable, easy to access and was right on the beach. I enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of the main drag. We came to relax and that we did. Everything was as I expected it to be. The only recommendation would be to have a newer tv in the living room as it was slightly on the small side and the colors seemed to be a little washed out. I would have also liked to be able to log into Netflix and Prime.

Beautiful house and beach area

The only issue we had was unlocking the front door with the entry code sent to us, but when I called the office, they answered quickly and gave a second door code to use which worked fine! The house is roomy and very close to the beach! just a warning for others, though, there is no grill on site. We had to bring our own to use outdoor grilling.

On the water!

Couldn't be any closer to the water! Screened in porch with rockers was wonderful. Loved the ocean views out two of the bedrooms. Long beach walks every sunrise and sunset, unlimited sandbox for the kids. A little drive to town, but close to good restaurant and convenience stores. Had a Christmas tree delivered to management and they saw that it was out at the house when we arrived! Would be nice if management would allow small amount of condiments, paper and cleaning supplies to accumulate from one guest to the next...it's a wasteful annoyance and unnecessary expense to buy basic things like salt & pepper, dish soap, pot scrubbers, etc. and then dispose of it when leaving.

Stuck in the sand Ft Morgan

Words cannot express how amazing this place is. Beautifully decorated beach style. Spotless. Gulf views from almost every room. The screened in porch was wonderful. And the other porch is right off the master bdrm. I would open the door and pull the curtains back when I woke in the morning and just lay there & take in the beauty and sounds of the waves crashing. And Mgmt was so accomadating. I was looking forward sitting on the deck in rocking chairs, but from the look on the site there weren't any. Well Lo & behold ,we got there and they had gone out and got us 4 rockers. I could go on forever about this place, but I'm tired of typing !
