Beautiful spacious 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom villa with heated pool & Air conditioning in each bedroom to rent in the lovely village of Laurens, Occitanie (previously called Languedoc Roussillon) in the South of France.

The village has 2 bakeries, A post office, Boucherie/Charcuterie, Maison de la Presse, Bar, a take-away serving hand-made Pizza, burgers etc and a beautiful Restaurant. Very near to a number of Chateau, Vineyards and Domaines. A scenic 25 mins to Beziers, 30 mins to the Beach.

The house has a very large open plan sitting, dining room and kitchen. Downstairs shower room. Upstairs there are 4 double bedrooms, master with en-suite and large balcony, each bedroom has air conditioning (cold & heat) plus a ceiling fan, family bathroom plus further cloakroom.

All luxury bed linen and high quality towels and pool towels are supplied.

Garden with good size pool (9m x 4m, 1.6m deep) outside shower, lounging and 3 x dining/seating areas (one covered).

Wi-fi, Netflix, UK TV stations, Google Home.

The pictures online don't do it justice! A lovely, well equipped and beautifully decorated house where everything has been thought about. Felt like we were staying in a small luxury boutique hotel all to ourselves!

Lovely holiday, beautiful property

One of the nicest properties we have stayed at in France! Beautifully decorated and furnished, and so well equipped throughout, everything you could want and more (It genuinely doesn't feel like a holiday house at all, more like staying in someone's home) Loads of thoughtful extras like pool towels, two fridges, fans, gas in the BBQ - I could go on! The weather was excellent - we spent most of our time outside in the lovely pool, sunbathing, relaxing in a shady corner and dining under the covered area and we really appreciated the generous number of seats and loungers. Great location - we used the village bakery everyday and treated ourselves when we heard the announcement that the oyster seller had arrived. Lots to see and do locally, slightly further afield we spent evenings at Marseillan port and the night market at Pezenas. Thank you for a lovely stay

Fantastic Stay in Laurens

Just back from a fabulous stay in Laurens! The property is absolutely beautiful - the photos dont do it justice, so much space and every single thing you could possibly need is there. All of the various outside spaces were well used, the pool was excellent, and having the steps into the pool was great for the smaller children who weren't very confident swimming. All of the rooms are well air conditioned and ive never stayed in a place with such a well equipped kitchen! The village is lovely - a couple of little bakeries nearby, along with a butcher, little convenience store, tobacco shop, and pharmacy (which was great for the various mosquito repellent/bite creams we needed!). The place is well situated for exploring the south of France - around an hour away from Montpellier, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Millau, with lots of little towns and markets to explore nearby. We had a few questions for the owners while we were away and communication couldnt have been easier or quicker - would love to come back and stay here again!

Toll war, dass Julia und Paul sich immer sofort gemeldet haben und vor Ort stand auch immer jemand zur Verfügung. Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein Espresso-Kocher wäre die Krönung gewesen. Zimmer großzügig. Schön wäre es gewesen, wenn die Fliegengitter an den Fenstern angebracht werden. Bei mir hatte es leider nicht funktioniert und in einem Zimmer fehlte das Gitter. Außenbereich hat eine gute Aufteilung. Genug Liegen und Schirme sind vorhanden. Leider kamen nachmittags die Mücken. War sowieso zu heiß :-) Dafür waren sie abends meist wieder weg. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Die Gegend ist ein Traum

Noël agréable et confortable en famille

Séjour de 5 jours pour fêter Noël en famille . Nous étions 6 adultes et 2 enfants de 8 et 4 ans. Nous avons été agréablement surpris à notre arrivée par les prestations de la maison et le volume de ses pièces . L'hébergement est tout à fait adapté pour un séjour en famille, tout en préservant l'intimité de chacun.quinnn

Eine in jeder Hinsicht ausgezeichnete Ferienwohnung

Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen, zwei Kindern und einem Hund im Juli in Laurens. Das Haus hat uns schon bei der Ankunft den Atem geraubt. Es ist weitläufiger, als es die Fotos vermuten lassen, so dass man auch mit 8 Personen entspannt dort Urlaub machen kann. Es gibt viele Sitzgelegenheiten in verschiedenen Arealen, so dass man sich nicht "auf der Pelle hängt". Ansonsten darf man jedes Detail aus der Beschreibung wörtlich nehmen, das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und es mangelt an nichts! Ich hatte mit Julia Kontakt, die sich sehr gut gekümmert hat und mir bei Fragen sofort geholfen hat. Das Paar, welches vor Ort das Haus betreut, macht dies dezent und mit genauso viel Hingabe, wie die Vermieter. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, was auch an den vielen liebevollen Details lag, die nirgendwo geschrieben stehen, wie die liebevolle Dekoration, Einrichtung und Ausstattung, die weit über eine zweckdienliche Ferienhausausstattung hinaus geht. Wir waren schon in tollen Ferienhäusern, dieses ist bisher unser Favorit! Das Dorf Laurens selbst ist etwas schmucklos, bietet aber eine gute Ausgangsbasis, um die nähere und weitere Umgebung zu erkunden. Hierfür legen Paul und Julia reichlich Literatur bereit. Es gibt neben der ohnehin sehr reizvollen Landschaft Schlösser, Schluchten und natürlich den innerhalb von 30-40 Minuten erreichbaren Sandstrand entlang der Mittelmeerküste. 10 von 10 Punkten! Danke Julia und Paul!

Maison qui nous a permis de rassembler 2 de nos 3 enfants avec petits enfants et le couple d’un beau-frère Le lieu a été choisi en fonction du 3 eme enfant qui n’était pas en vacances et a pu venir partager trois soirées. Pour la première fois nous étions loin de la mer c’est pourquoi nous voulions une piscine ce qui ne nous a pas empêché de faire une journée plage très agréable avec déjeuner dans une paillote Sinon visite de Pezenas, de Narbonne, un petit tour en Espagne, dégustation et achat de vin découverte de bons restaurants

Très belle maison avec de grandes chambres, de nombreuses salles de bain et un très grand lieu de séjour (très grand cuisine et grand salon). Le Pacio est très agréable. La piscine est aussi très agréable, même si le carrelage se casse passablement. Les propriétaires répondent rapidement à nos questions. Dans les quelques points négatifs, nous aurions bien aimé être accueilli par quelqu'un afin de nous expliquer le fonctionnement de la maison. La maison est globalement propre, mais certaines finitions pourraient être meilleures. En résumé, nous avons passé une magnifique semaine et nous reviendrons certainement.

Agréable semaine

Superbe maison vigneronne rénovée avec goût! Nous avons profité du calme de Laurens tout en bénéficiant de la proximité des lieux Touristiques de la région. La maison est parfaitement équipée, et le jardin avec la piscine sécurisé. Paul et Julia ainsi que Katie sont restés très à l’écoute. Mille mercis pour cette excellente semaine!

Un magnifique havre de paix

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. La villa est magnifique, très bien équipée, et fonctionnelle. Elle est très claire et chaleureuse. La piscine et les aménagements exteririeurs permettent de beaux moments de convivialité et de détente. Idéale pour un séjour entre amis ou en famille. Les propriétaires sont très attentionnés, et sont de bon conseil pour découvrir la région.

We currently live in the UK but, spend many of our holidays in France and are so lucky to have found this beautiful house L'abeille. Julia's family used to make the journey down to the South of France regularly in the 1970's - her dad says they were pioneers! So, it has very fond memories which is why we wanted to have our very own piece of this beautiful country.
We are hoping to retire in the next few years when we will be able to spend even more time here.

Why they chose this property

We looked at a number of properties and one thing became very clear, if we were going to buy somewhere in the South of France then it needed to have a pool.

What makes this property unique

The house is so light and airy with a really welcoming feel to it. We feel relaxed as soon as we arrive. The spacious open plan living area lends itself to entertaining and sharing good times with friends and family.
The pool is also such a bonus and the various terraces and the balcony make it an absolute delight to be outside.
