This house has a six (6) person guest limit. This is not a "party house". If that's what you want, that's fine, but please look elsewhere, because loud and late parties will be shut down, and eviction may occur. Small, relatively quiet gatherings are welcome.

This quaint updated mid-century modern home features woodgrain vinyl planking installed 12/2021 over a cork underlayment providing a soft and quiet surface for your bare feet, updated kitchen and bath with granite counters. One of the best canal water views on Galveston's West End with lots of windows. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has 4 single beds (including daybed with trundle).

NOTE:
Amenities Include: Central air/heat, TV's in all rooms living room and both bedrooms, Internet, DVD player (with selection of DVD movies), gas BBQ grill, 2 kayaks, plenty of outdoor furniture including dining table.
Microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishes, toaster, linens and towels furnished. Public boat launch at Jamaica Beach marina.

Pets OK with upon approval and $100/pet non-refundable deposit. Non-aggressive breeds only.
No smoking except outside - NO BUTTS ON THE GROUND PLEASE!

Pool (located next to the City Park on Jolly Roger Rd/Bob Smith Rd) is open daily (except Tuesday's) from 10:00AM to 8:00 PM between mid-May thru mid-September (weather permitting).

A few short minutes to: THE BEACH! 2 restaurants (plus Subway), grocery store, liquor store, golf cart/water sports rental, home furnishings/gift/boutique shop, and...Buck's West Bar

You can usually check-in earlier than 4. Even if another guest is checking out the day of your arrival, the house is typically cleaned and ready by 2:30 (or earlier) after which you are welcome to check-in. Late check-out can be accommodated upon request if no guests are booked to check-in that day.

The property was very clean and beautiful! The view into the Canal was amazing. The location is wonderful for relaxing and not far from the beach. The host was very good at communicating and the fish were jumping everywhere! I would recommend this property to friends and family all day!

Cute, quiet, and perfect location

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The location was perfect — great for the kids to fish right outside, and just a short drive to the beach. With some helpful tips from the friendly neighbor, we caught several different kinds of fish, making the experience even more memorable. The house had everything we needed and was an great fit for our family of four. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We had such a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the sheets felt like something out of a luxury hotel—we all slept so well. The kitchen was fully stocked with great amenities, which made cooking and hanging out a breeze. We especially loved using the kayaks, which added such a fun and memorable element to our trip. The cozy decor throughout the home made it feel warm, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing after a day outside. It was also a short drive to Jamaica Beach. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Getaway & Great Host

Brought my son here for a Spring Break fishing getaway. We had a blast, and the house was perfect. Matt was a great host. The communication was great, but make sure you do your part to read through the information. The house had everything we needed and more.

We were only a few minutes away from the ocean but we enjoyed catching crab in the canals as much as going to the beach. The house was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

Great location, close to the beach access and lots of cute local restaurants but also a short drive to Galveston. The house is as described and very well stocked with towels/kitchen supplies. Communication with owner was very prompt and professional. Would definitely recommend!

Great Location

The owner () communicated through the booking process and was always responsive. The home was clean and ready for us on arrival. It has great view of the canal and a short drive to the beach. Everything you need for a short or long vacation i.e. pans, pots, utensils, towels were all clean and accessible. Would stay again on our next visit to Galveston.

Nice Location

The property is as described. Beautiful canal views and close proximity to the beach. I like this area way better than Galveston Proper. The only suggestion I'd make is to get some new bath towels - there were 4 of us staying there and there were 5 stained towels, 1 handtowl and 2 washcloths. Otherwise amenities were as described.

Quiet and Relaxing

Perfect location to get away and enjoy sea breezes, and quiet. We’re already planning on a return trip. Kayaks provided for paddling the canals, decent fishing from the bulkhead for this time of year, JB pool is a nice break from canal swims. Renting a golf cart is the way to for getting around the community: restaurants, convenience stores, food truck, community pool, and crossing 3005 to the beach. Matt (host) is readily available and was in communication throughout our visit as needed.

Perfect Vacation Getaway

The property was exactly as described. Matt gave us a very detailed guide and it had everything we needed to know and more. He was prompt in replying to any of our questions. The property is in a great location in Jamaica Beach. Definitely recommend to rent a golf cart, as there's no reason to drive a car here. Everything (including the beach) is a 5 minute golf cart ride away. The house was nice and clean, and the downstairs patio area is a perfect place to hang out by the canal. 10/10, would recommend.

Exactly what we were looking for!

My family and I were looking to get away for the weekend and found this listing. We loved that we had access to fishing and kayaking right in the backyard. It was the right size for my family of 5. Matt was very accommodating and very flexible. He allowed us to check in early and check out later than listed so we could enjoy fishing and kayaking and not have to be in a rush to leave early. Matt responded quickly to all my questions. We enjoyed sitting by the chimenea during the evening and even just sitting in living room with the beautiful view of the water and the other canal homes. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a really nice home on the bay. My son loved being able to fish and crab and kayak whenever he wanted. We are very spoiled with our keurig and there wasnt one here BUT... there is a nice coffee pot and grinder to use. Everything else we needed was already there for our use. If you like a firm bed, do not sleep in the front room as the mattress is memory foam and feels like you're caving into the middle. Overall, we had a great trip.

I bought this property originally as a vacation home. The big water view at the T intersection of two of the larger canals was a big draw. I love the way my mood changes as soon I crest the causeway and descend to the island.
