About this property
Coxswain's House, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk
A beautiful, spacious three storey character property enjoying sea and harbour views from the top floor. So close to the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea harbour and amenities, yet still a haven of peace and tranquillity with a sheltered south-facing patio garden, which is a real sun trap. The location really is exceptional! A mere minute walk from the quay, Coxswain's House is far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough so that everything is at hand.
Spread over three floors, Coxswain's House used to be the home of the town's Lifeboat helmsman and skipper, hence the name! The property has been beautifully renovated and is bursting with character, space and lots of charm. Stylishly decorated and comfortably furnished throughout, with the odd tasteful nod here and there to its seaside location, the owners have paid great attention to every small detail to ensure guests have the best and most comfortable of holidays.
Children (and adults) will have great time playing pool in the games room. There is a lovely relaxed kitchen/breakfast room flooded with natural light, featuring a snug nestled at the top end. With a wood burning stove, comfy sofa, chairs and a television, you could spend the whole day and evening in making it the perfect venue for a long, chatty lunch or special dinner. Outside, there is a very sunny private and spacious enclosed courtyard garden; an ideal spot for a barbecue or pre-dinner drinks. Coxswains House is definitely the perfect holiday house for families, couples and friends to enjoy the very best of times in this popular seaside town.
The house is also available as a sleeps four option, listed as Coxswain's House (4), out of the main season and school holidays.
Additional Information:
Sorry, no pets.
Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot.
