Just renovated OCEAN FRONT CONDO at The Royal Garden Resort

This condo is located in the family friendly Garden City Beach Area just south of Myrtle Beach. This two bedroom condo is in the 16 story high rise Royal Garden Resort. The Royal Garden Resort has a large outdoor and indoor swimming pool and hot tub.

Come Relax on your large private oceanfront balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. Enjoy the resort amenities, which include 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), hot tub and outdoor kiddie pool. We have an onsite family friendly beach bar and grill that offers a variety of special drinks and food.
Check-in is onsite for easy and fast convenience. We can provide contactless check-in if requested.
You are allotted two parking spaces to park in the onsite parking garage. The parking garage Clarence is 6’ 8”. There are a few oversized parking spaces based on availability. Guest cannot have golf carts in the parking garage however, there is parking in front of the garage based on availability.
This beautiful condo is 5 miles from the family friendly Murrells Inlet Marsh walk, close to jet ski and banana boat rentals, fishing, and many more attractions and restaurants.

Check in was easy, good communication on check in and out procedure. Property was clean. Cabinets and counters could use updating as others have stated but since I dont live here and spent most of our time outside enjoying our vacation it didn't affect our stay at all. We love this area, it is more relaxing and laid back than staying in Myrtle Beach.

The owners have updated and kept this unit very clean with new furnishings and paint. Other than a leaking pipe with the unit above (608) on the last day of our stay, we had no problems at all.

The condo we stayed it was underwhelming at best. It was dirty/dusty - did not appear to have been recently cleaned. One of bathroom doors was falling apart and would not close, an electric outlet was falling out of the wall, lights did not work, not enough outlets. It smelled awful - clearly not a "no smoking" room. The kitchen was marginally equipped. Would not recommend this condo.

Amazing view!

Excellent location and property amenities! Unfortunately, our specific unit was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival (previous guest items under both beds); there was a leak in the hall bath ceiling and a ceiling tile kept falling down; I can handle the dated/grimey decor and furnishings which were obvious from the booking photos but the level of cleanliness was not the best. The view from the balcony made the downfalls more manageable. We enjoyed our stay but won't return to this unit.

Definitely the most disappointed Ive ever been in a VRBO property

I hate giving a bad review but in this instance, I feel that it is warranted. The condo is a dump. The complex itself was pretty fair but this particular condo needs to be gutted. Filthy carpet, I wouldn't even sit on the Living Room furniture. There was mold in the bathroom. Absolutely the worst. It would seem that someone who rented a property like this would have the decency to make it livable, especially at over 300 per night.

Comforter in master bedroom had huge blood stains. Sheets were paper thin and pillows flimsy. Tv in master bedroom did not work and unit had some pest control issues. There was also mold in one bathroom around the wallpaper border. Check in time was after 4, we arrived at 4:30. On site manager was rude and said we almost missed him as they were about to close for the day. And when we spoke to a different person about the rooms issues later in the week, she too was rude and acted like she did not care or even believe us. I know you don’t go on vacation to stay in the room but when a person spends a lot of money they expect a clean and well kept room to stay in. Will definitely not recommend or stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We so looked forward to a weekend at the beach amidst heavy work schedules both before and after. However, it was also the weekend that the county refurbished the beaches with heavy equipment and their strong headlights, round the clock, right outside our balcony. The property does not have control of that, of course, but we did find online that the timing of refurbishing was previously available to the property management company. When we inquired about how they planned to accommodate the fact that beach access was completely closed and the constant noise of heavy equipment, the female at the management desk was quite rude. This was our second encounter with her; in the first, she refused to provide her name when asked. She was clear that beach access is not promised with this property, only beachside. So be aware of that. We ended up sleeping at the property at night, sometimes closing the door completely to escape the noise, and driving to other beaches. The condo itself was fine--not 5 star but we knew it was an older property. The building, needs much maintenance--an issue perhaps predictable given the attitudes of the folks on site. We lost internet service late in our stay, further frustrating because we worked some since we couldn't get to the beach. As we checked out our last day, I asked if I could get internet service in the property management lobby long enough to send some needed files. The man at the desk informed me that he had no way to give me any access and that I should have restarted the modem in the condo. I'm still not sure how I was supposed to know where the modem even was. All in all, I'm sorry that this property owner is represented by this management company because condo, again, was fine. But I would not stay at any property managed by this group and would not recommend it to others.
