The owners are proud to be reducing its carbon footprint by using Green Electricity with electric radiators and a smart meter, all waste is now recycled meaning none is sent to landfill and you can even have milk delivered in glass bottles!

The flat is in a great location.
The flat is in a great location. It comes with a warning about the noise of the waterfall however this did not affect us. The Dales are beautiful and enjoyed our first visit. The bed sadly was not very comfortable for my old bones but the greatest disappointment was not being able to keep warm in the evening. The owner seems over concerned about the electricity cost rather than his guests. He is able to over ride the heating system from his home and even though we tried turning up the heating on the controls the radiators switched off at 8pm. To me it would not be right to charge additional cost for electric considering the fact we only used £22.29 for the week including cooking as using the pubs with covid-19 was just too much faff. We had a great week, even though the weather wasn't always good, in this comfortable place, which was in an excellent position for touring around the north dales. We just had one slight problem when the tv went wrong and we had trouble getting the owner, who was away on holiday, to get somebody to correct the problem. We were without it for 3 days. Apart from that the apartment was ideal, and the waterfall was spectacular.

Great location and the Mill was beautiful.
Great location and the Mill was beautiful. The real let down was the water pressure for the shower which was just unacceptable. After a hard days walking, you want a long hot shower to ease your aching muscles but the shower was just a dribble which left you feeling cold and totally unrefreshed. I am sure there are difficulties with maybe fitting a shower pump but when you have a raging river running underneath you, the shower situation seemed a little ironic. Everything else was great. The village was very quaint and walks very accessible from this location.
