Enjoying a peaceful, wooded setting on the outskirts of the Highland capital of Inverness, this lovely barn conversion, close to the owners’ home, is equipped to a very good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible. Ladybird Cottage makes a super base to explore this lovely part of the Highlands with the renowned Loch Ness only 4 miles away. Slightly further afield, you can visit the stunning, unspoilt beaches of the Moray coast, where you may catch sight of the famous dolphins. Also, visit the Culloden Battlefield and Fort George, both steeped in history. For the energetic, there are many activities available, including mountain biking, hill walking, climbing and a large variety of watersports. For the less energetic, just sit back and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

Great villa to explore Loch Ness area

Confortable, spacious and beautiful villa set in a peaceful landscape. The Villa is well appointed, nicely decorated and provided plenty of space for our group of four adults. We enjoyed the majestic threes and garden on the property. The Villa is centrally located to explore the Loch Ness and Inverness area. We all enjoyed Ladybird.

We loved our holiday at Ladybird Cottage.It is a beautiful and well presented holiday home.The countryside round the cottage is lovely and Inverness city centre is only 15 minutes from the cottage.Our hosts were helpful and friendly and I would recommend Ladybird Cottage to anyone.It also had good access for wheelchair users.

An outstanding cottage with everything that you could possible want, very cosy on those wet and dull days with lots of games, puzzles and DVDs to keep the kids entertained. Easy access to lots of different tourist attractions and the main roads. We would certainly recommend a trip to the Highland Wildlife Park to see the polar bears. We would have just liked to have seen a little less rain!!
