A beautifully appointed cottage in rolling countryside.

A beautifully appointed cottage in rolling countryside. Very clean and comfortable inside. Patio area in the rear garden offers a private area, which is ideal for breakfast or an evening drink catching the last of the sun.

Arrived from the south east London and disappointed that there was no welcome pack as suggested on the website when booking. If people are travelling from further afield the first thing you want after a tiresome journey is a cup of tea or coffee. I can honestly say it was one of the best cottages that we have stayed in. Country views so tranquil to look at and wonderful sunsets. The drive leading to the cottage is very uneven and and although suitable for farm vehicles it is not ideal for the average car. Suggest that the owner could fill it in with gravel or shingle to make it easier using access. Apart from this a lovely break.

Well equipped, comfortable, quiet cottage.

Well equipped, comfortable, quiet cottage. Good location & 10 min walk to local pub set up to socially distance/track & trace etc. & 10 min drive to great, local supermarket. Cottage was clean but wood burner had not been cleaned. This would have improved rating along with some information provision regarding rubbish/ash disposal etc. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Very comfy cottage- would have scored even higher overall if outdoor furniture and cushions were repainted/cleaner. Very nice pub The Oak in walking distance and only a few miles from Rye. Very hot in the heatwave but owner was very helpful and located an electric fan. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is a lovely, comfortable house with good views over farmland.

This is a lovely, comfortable house with good views over farmland. It is a working farm (sheep shearing was taking place while we were there). Comfy beds, nice living room, and very clean. I appreciated that care had been taken with using eco friendly products (toilet roll, some of the cleaning materials) though I couldn't find any recycling instructions. We enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed our stay very much. Cottage had nearly everything we needed and a peaceful, welcoming home for our stay. Cottage is just a 5-10 minute drive from good petrol/supermarket, several local pubs and Rye town, harbour and Winchelsea.

The break away.

The break away. The Shearing Shed was clean, well equipped in a great location. Reason I scored low for amenities was due to being rural location. Would definitely recommend.
