Bike store available on request. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property is accessed via a rough track. There is a fountain 12 yards from the property.. A well-appointed wing on the owner’s property, The Pump House stands proud and has been thoughtfully appointed with large feature windows that offer views across open countryside. Less than a mile from the sea and all the many activities offered in Hunstanton, yet tucked away in a quiet spot, you will really feel that you have escaped from all the stresses and strains of daily life. Stylishly decorated and furnished, The Pump House offers everything needed for a romantic escape but, if you can tear yourself away, you’ll find a coastline scattered with unspoilt beaches, pretty villages and great places to potter, shop and eat. City lovers can explore the Hanseatic port of old, Kings Lynn, or the medieval city of Norwich, while those seeking a quieter pace can enjoy Wells-next-the-Sea, with its narrow gauge railway that takes you to the beach and its quaint mix of artisan and traditional shops and cafés. Bird watchers will of course be spoilt for choice, as will walkers and cyclists. And, if you’re looking for all that with a touch of luxury, The Pump House is the perfect place for you. Beach ¼ mile. Our second visit to the Pump House and just as lovely as the first time. The owners have been very thorough to make the accommodation Covid safe, whilst retaining the comfort and overall homeliness. The standard of the Pump House is high. A lovely quiet, relaxed stay, which is just a few minutes walk from local pubs, restaurants and the beach. We particularly like the area for cycling. Lovely quiet spot for a break and very nice apartment. It actually had a Smart Bluray player rather than just a DVD, so selling itself short there. Just a short walk through the footpath to the beach 5-10 mins tops. Pity the living room isnt at the top or middle floor, as we found ourselves sitting at the kitchen table to watch all the wildlife come out of the wood into the lovely garden, including deer, rabbits and hares. We have stayed at The Pump House twice for long weekend breaks. It has been completed to a very high specification. The only thing that could be better us the Wi-Fi signal. We will definitely be booking again.
