Beautiful location cottage lacking in comfort and character
What a beautiful location and cottage we had a fantastic time! The house was well equipped and clean. It is however lacking in any comfort or character. Pictures slightly misleading and beds and sofa have seen better days, no comfy spot to relax after a day outdoors. Management was very poor no contact made at all regarding check in or replies to my emails about check out. Last minute frantic attempts to get key code details on arrival. Would recommend just needs a wee spruce.

The cottage was perfect, had our own car parking space, enclosed garden & a few walks from the doorstep, although a village shop wouldn't of gone a miss, nearest shops where Keswick so a bit of a journey to buy essentials would stay here again.

Excellent cottage which was very clean and very well equipped.
Excellent cottage which was very clean and very well equipped.the only things I believe could have improved our stay would be a fire glove for the log burner as the handle and vents get very hot,and the outside bins were confusing as to what waste goes in which bin!two very minor things in what was an excellent week away.thank you and we will definitely come back..👌👍

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and warm, especially with the wood burner going.
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and warm, especially with the wood burner going. Great enclosed garden outside for our dogs. Walks direct from the front door and Keswick a short drive for shops.
